TUESDAY 27th December: Beachy sniffs

Cato:  Hello Aunties! Beach walk and pics today, and LOTS of sniffs! It was really cold and a Mum said her hands were too cold to take pics when we were down on the beach.  Lots of big bouncy paws, but Tara did OK.  Mum made sure she stayed close, and no one sniffed her knickers at all.   A man larffed at me though.  He had two HUGE paws with him, and they were bouncing and romping about under the pier - a bit close to MY widdling post.  So I trotted over and r

TUESDAY 26th July: Too many people!

Cato: IT woz nice and cool all the morning, so we went out for a walk, and then it got HOT, so we didn't mind all the pics, cos it meant we could have a sit down! Tara still managed to bounce though. This is me busy on busyness The park was EVER SO FULL of people.   I like meeting people, but there are some dangerous drivers!  Mainly little boys on little bikes.  Girls too.  They look and look and look and don't stop pedalling, and it is like they can only stee

TUESDAY 26th Apr: Different park with Dad

Tara:   I love My Dad.  He lets me on the bed in the morning when Mum gets up and does bathroom stuff.  And he took us to the park today.  A different park.  don't know wot it is called but it is at the bottom of the hill beyond the traffic lights.  We like it cos we can walk to it.  Mum says it is boring, cos it doesn't have proper flowers n stuff.  But we like it cos you can RUN. Because it was Dad, he let me wear my old red jumper with my new pink lead.  Mum wouldn't have let me.  I love

TUESDAY 25th October: Cemetery Sniffs

Tara: Cos Mum isn't working this week we are getting more fun walks!  IT is ACE.  I don't think Mum should work at all.  Then we could have nice walks every day.  She says that she is having another holiday.  But if that is true, why haven't we gone back to the Mountains to stay, and have Mountain adventures.  This can't be a PROPER holiday, can it? We hadn't been to Our Field at the end of the road for AGES, so we went today.  It hadn't changed.  Lots of doggy sniffs and pl

TUESDAY 24th May: Pack walk round cemetery

Tara:  Had to sleep all day cos Mum was working.  Dad went out too, but not to work.  He went to see Pops and Mam, but didn't take us!  So we slept instead.   Today was windy so all the sniffs blew past really quick.  And there were seeds and cut grass.  Mum says she needs to check my knickers for tangles and stuff.  We did Our Field and the Cemetery, and down the Slippy Road, and saw a CAT!!!  It was tortoiseshell, so it wasn't like Sidney, so we tried to chase it, and had to look in

TUESDAY 23rd Feb: Holiday Adventure

Sidney: off to prison  have my bed, my carrier, my catnip mouse, and i haven't had ANY breakfast.  But i had a good sleep last night.  I pushed Mum closer and closer to the edge, all night, til she woke up almost falling out.  Bet she misses that tonight!    Cato:   Long car journey.  We stopped once for widdling.  Lots and lots of strange dog sniffs and the grass was shoulder high, so lots of bouncing.  We also stopped in a car park and Dad went food shopping and Mum stayed with us.

TUESDAY 22nd Mar: No camera day!

Tara: Mum forgot her camera on our walk today! Hahahahaha!  Bad Mum!  We had a fab time, but you can't see any of it, cos she FORGOT.  So you can't see Bailey the Big White Bouncy Boxer that I had to hide from on a bench.  Or the swans.  Or Bertie the JackRussell/Chihuahua/Pug who played with us.  And I played with HIM.  And you can't see how dirty Cato got cos I bounced on him in some really soggy muddy grass.  Mum was not happy.  Hahahahaha!   Cato: So Mum says that if

TUESDAY 21st June: :( no walk days :(

Cato: oh Aunties! it rained and rained and rained yesterday.  Mum says it was like stair rods wotever they are.  So we didn't walk. and then today it woz hot hot hot, and Mum says it won't be cool til it gets dark.  So we aren't walking again. I am very good at sleeping, but even I am getting bored with it.  And Tara is unbearable.  The next time she wants to chew on my ear I may get a bit cross.  She is lying on her back on the living room floor, and I am lying on the sofa n

TUESDAY 1st Mar: Rain and repairs

Mum: Just one photo today.  It is self explanatory. What you may not be able to see is that it is pouring with rain.  Most of the day. can you SEE how desperate Tara is, to get up that ladder? I didn't walk them today, because of work/internet/hassle/issues that I had to work on.  So Dad took them down to the beach (on foot) in a brief dry spell, and treated himself to a cuppa in the nice beach cafe. They came home WILDLY excited, and full of stories and thrills an

TUESDAY 19th July: Monster patrol

Tara: Monster!  Monster!  I saw it!  I saw it first!!!  Monster!!!!   Cato: We just found a Monster!  It was very exciting.  The back door was open, cos of the hotness, and we went out for a patrol, and we saw it, flapping dangerously round the garden under the table!  So we barked and barked til Mum came to investigerate.  We would have got it, of course, only she came too quickly. It was a Monstrous plastic bag!!!  Flap! Flap! I have to keep going out and checking

TUESDAY 19th Apr: Ghostly Exorcism... or not... ?

Dear Miss Missy,  Could me and Tara please beg your kind assistance in checking out for the ghost and babee ghost? Mum finished work an hour early today and burst into a frenzy of nasty stinky cleaning and stuff.  She used the stuff that smells of orange, and the sucky vacuum, and the vinegary window cleaning stuff, and it was awful.  She kept moving us, and things, and wiping and fussing and making more of a mess.  And every time we started to help (clearing out the paper she dropped,

TUESDAY 17th May: Late walk, good sniffs

Cato:   Dad was off out for AGES today, and got really hot.  So when he came back he said that we would have to walk after the hot bit went.  But then he went off to work, and left us, so we had to walk with Mum.  And since he had taken the car, we couldn't go anywhere interesting So this is our walk: See how tangled Tara has made the leads already?  We have barely started!  And already she has pulled me off my legs when widdling, and gone round and round me.  Sigh. but

TUESDAY 16th Mar: The Thot Plickens

MUM:   Official Apology, on this Day 15th March this Year of Our Lord Two Thousand and Sixteen, by Mum and Dad and Cato, and OK Tara too, (athough she isn't really interested) for False Accusations and False Judgements Regarding the CatPee DogBed Polluting Incident to Sidney Cat (Ruler of All He Surveys), of this Residence. The Apology retracts ALL implied or stated criticisms meted out to said Feline, which are hereby unreservedly withdrawn, with no lingering doubts or

TUESDAY 16th Feb: Pack walk (with Dad)

Cato: So when Dad has to do his Work Stuff, he goes out for ages, and sometimes he comes and goes in the middle of the night. It is always very exciting when he walks in, and we bounce and bounce and bounce! The last few days he has been getting up in the middle of the night, and missing our walks, so yesterday was GREAT.  He woke up with us, and walked with us AND went to bed with us.  I even went and spent  the evening with him yesterday evening, because I love him, and I can lie in

TUESDAY 15th November: slippy leaves and sog

Cato: Tara is sulking cos we didn't go back to the muddy bits today.  So I shall blog it all. We went to the field at the end of the road first. LOTS of interesting sniffs.  We walked all the way round.  Down the steps and round.  There was a Shar Pei walking when we arrived, but her Dad kept her away from us, cos she is terrified of 'little dogs'.  Isn't that weird.  Anyway, I'm not little, am I Aunties?  I am the perfeck size. This is why Tara is huffing.  Not enough m

TUESDAY 13th September: Steaky hotness

Mum:  Hottest September day here since 1911.  I kid you not.  Luckily I was stuck inside on the computer all day, but it was far too hot for lunchtime walkies.  So the little princess has been a bit restless (understatement) and the little prince has been very chilled and relaxed. Mr C developed a yearning for one of his huge steak-fests, so we went out to a steakhouse pub after work to sit outside in the evening sun, me drinking pints of water, Mr C drinking pints of Carling, dogs wistfull

TUESDAY 12th Apr: Rain, no walk and NO MUM!

Tara:  So, we knew something woz up when Mum got up early and did the bathroom face clothes fuss.  And then both Mum and Dad left us alone!  Dad came back, but didn't walk us AT ALL.  Cos it rained and rained and rained and rained. And we missed Mum, cos she usually reminds Dad it is breakfast time!  So it has been really boring. Then after AGES Dad left us too, and Mum came back. Not a fun day.  Cato just snored it all away, even when i killed toys on his bed.   Cato:  Knew

TUESDAY 12 June: Catching up

Cato: Mum had a busy week, on account of doing Mum stuff upstairs.  Sorting and cleaning and wardrobing and stuff.  The walks were once with Mum and three with Dad, and one day off cos of rain.  But we can't remember all the details, cos they were AGES ago now, so Mum said we could do afew blog thingies at once and catch up all in one go, so sorry if this is very long. Tara doesn't understand wot Mum means, cos she can't remember wot happened yesterday, let alone 3 days ago, so I will

TUESDAY 11th October: Sleepy and walkless

Cato: Yesterday we went for lunch with Mum and Dad to the sausage place.  It was a working day for Mum so we had to rush.  Mum had boring fish, and Dad had boring eggs, so Dad asked the nice lady for a sausage for us!  We like the nice sausage lady.  She brought us our sausage all chopped up on a little plate specially for us! We like the sausage cafe and the sausage lady!!! Mum would have taken a pic of our sausage, only she had been so busy with work, and we were in such a rush

TUESDAY 10th May: Too soggy

Cato:  Mum says it is too soggy for a walk today.   And Tara is being unbearable.  She was so bouncy that I wouldn't go to Dad to collect my Calcium Bone treat, so I didn't get one.  She had one though. Then Mum gave me mine when she wasn't around, but I made the mistake of going to my Treat Place in the front room, and she saw me.  If Dad hadn't been there, she would have stolen it. Anyway, Mum says since there is no walk, and no pics today, cos everything is soggy - except us, and we

Tue 9th Jan: Twice around!

Cato: What a weird walk!  I mean, it was fun.  But Dad took us round twice!  On the path!  instead of once off the path.  Very weird.  This is first sniff: We took Dad, cos MrWeatherman said it would rain at lunchtime, when Mum could come with us.  So she and Dad had a thunk and decided that an early morning walk, with just Dad would be better.   So it was a Dad Walk, which is fun, but it wasn't a Pack Walk, which is funner.  And we always have to worry about Dad getting lost, don

Tue 7th Mar: Ping Pong Park

Tara: My turn again!  This was a FAB walk.  With Dad!  We did ping pong til I was all puffed out.  It was ACE. Mum said I didn't need my jumper  cos it was warm We went round the part 3 times!  And the birds looked all scary big, so we didn't chase them.  Cato said they were flocking in a menacing manner.  Or something.  He kept talking about AuntieMarlene and The Birds.  But I don't know why. The we played Ping Pong.  It was the Bestest Ever. See Dad behind the tre

Tue 3rd Jan: Busy with Stuff

Cato: Mr Amazon sent Dad the wrong parcel today, so we didn't get to fight with the box   AND we had to go out and send the parcel back to Mr Amazon. This is us waiting when Dad went into the Post Office. This is the Post Office.  We went in there once with Mum.  We weren't supposed to go in, but she needed something, and she told us to be very very very good and hope that no one noticed us.  And one lady did, cos we saw her looking at us, but no one said anything, and Mum sa

Tue 2nd May: Round our lake

Cato: Phew!  I finally got Mum to sit down and blogg.  It is hard work!  I'm going to sit on her feet so she can't escape. This is from AGES ago when we were at Grandma and Grandad's.  We left Dad behind, which was very worrying.  And we sat in the car for agesandages, and then we arrived!  And it was lovely to see G&G, and have cuddles and tug of war and check the garden and the fields and the lake were OK.  Cos, you know, I hadn't been there for ages to make sure. Tue 24th Jan: A walk on the beach...

Tara: So we did boring after dark walks most of this week.  They are OK.  And very sniffy.  But some nights there woz something called Freezing Fog.  I don't like Freezing Fog.  It is weird.  The sound goes all strange and hollow, and the sniffs are clammy.  And you can't see much.  But at least we get a walk.  Even if it is only a short one cos of Wimpy Cato. Anyway, today we did Beach Stuff.  This is my First Sniff and Cato's First Widdle. and this is my Second Sniff and Ca
