Wed 15th Mar: Street and flowers

Cato: Aunties, Tara and me need your help.  Please.  The flower stuff is starting again.  If it is anything like last time, this is just the beginning... anything you can do to get Mum to do proper blog stuff, not flower stuff?  You know, interesting sniffy stuff.  Mud and poos and walking and so on.  Not this endless stinky flower stuff? Yesterday we had to wait AGESANDAGES for our walk.  Mum snuggled with us on the sofa at lunchtime.  I do like snuggling.  I do.  But I prefer walking

Wed 15th Feb: Big Lake Skies

Cato: Hello Aunties!  We had a great walk today.  All green and sniffy and muddy.  Much better than boring street walks and after dark walks. This is Tara going Hunting.  She messed it up.  It was all wet and soggy, and she wasn't expecting it.  Also, she thought I was right behind her, and I wasn't.  I was sniffing the ditch wall, back near the carpark, and she got a bit scared cos she doesn't like solo Hunting.  I prefer it, cos then no one else mucks it up.  Anyway, she didn't get h

Wed 12th Mar: Bye Bye Beach

Cato: We went to the beach again today, on account of it being time to say goodbye.  Cos when the Easter Bunni appears, us paws aren't allowed on the beach any more, until it gets cold and blowy again.   (Mum: dogs banned on the tourist main beach from Good Friday til 30th Sept.  But they are still permitted at the North Beach, and The Centre of the Universe beaches). But it is OK, cos I don't really like the beach that much.  Tara gets bored, and then all she wants to do is Ninja me.

We miss Dad!

Cato: oh Aunties, Dad has gone missing.  We are ever so worried about him. Mumsaid we wos going on a big adventure to see Grandma and Grandad, and it wos very exciting! There wos packing and toys and treats and everything went into our bag.  And we went out to the car, and Mum and Dad loaded lots of stuff into the car, and we all set off.   But then Dad got out of the car!  He said 'goodbye troops' and he told Mum He loved her, and us he loved us.  And told us to be good, and we w

We have our OWN sausage place now!

Cato: You know how Mum and Dad sometimes drag us into sausage places, and we get bored under the table while they stuff their faces with lovely food and drink stuff, and then after agesandagesandages we get to go outside and have some sausage wot they saved for us? Don't get me wrong, I like the sausages!  And the steak.  And the 100percentbeefyburgers and the bits of chicken. But now we have OUR OWN sausage place! And it is only 10mins walk from home!  So we can take Mum for

Walks with Grandad

Cato: Today we are going to show you the Around Grandma and Grandad Walks.  It was great!  G&G live in a village (Mum says) and villages have more fields and stuff than where Mum and Dad live.  So instead of town sniffs, there are more countryside sniffs.  And more Hunting sniffs. These are some Shetland ponies that live near G&G.  Mum says that Shetlands are like Tzus.  Small yet perfectly formed.  I wanted to meet them, but they were on the other side of a very deep ditch.  E

Walk stuff

Tara: My turn!  Cato has been hogging the blogging lately, so I get to tell you all how awesome I am.  And wot fun we had.  and stuff like that.  And there are more skypics for AuntieCrystal too. This bloggification is about 2 different walks, cos that is how clever I am!  I can do two walks at once! This is when we went the Big Lake Park, and Mum accidentally picced all the wrong things.  She picced birds and flowers and Cato and all the boring stuff.  But there isn't a single pi

TUESDAY14th June: Flowery Park and STEAK

Tara: So today is some anneversry thing for Mum and Dad.  Actually it isn't.  It was Saturday, but they forgot Hahahaha! and only remembered today!  So we went and had STEAK.  Dad had the big one again, and gave us bits when we got back to the car.  It was delish!!! But before that we went to Stinky Flower Town Park and spent ages being bored when Mum was taking pics.  Dad says he thinks he won't go there again if Mum takes the camera. Ha! I think Mum is going to save all the flowery b

TUESDAY 9th Feb: Fight! and Cemetery

Tara: Twice round the dog field today!  And through the cemetery.  And down the slippy leaf road! And we had that horrible forked lead thing on, which EVERYBODY hates, but Mum says is good to teach me manners.  Don't know what manners are, but I HATE them.  Lots of pics of me having fun, and Cato getting squished.  So it is all good. And Mum says that since I chewed the last wooden brush handle, I am not allowed another.  Not fair!  I only chewed it cos I LOVE it so much, and it w

TUESDAY 8th November: very draughty!

Cato: mum had to go out twice today to do work stuff!  Two times!  Both time we thought we were going with her, and we got all excited. But then we had to go in the front room with our chews, and we were left all alone. but we were asleep when she came home, cos we didn't hear the gate.   Tara:  i heard!  I did!  I wozn't asleep!  I just knew it woz Mum so I didn't bark!   Mum:    Cato:  so then we went out after Mum finished work.  Dad put my jumper on, an

TUESDAY 8th Mar: Sniffy Heaven

Cato: After last time, Mum decided we were going to do a street walk today.  Without Dad who has to go to work during our walks for days and days.  Mum says we will miss him, but will just have to manage. It was a nice walk.  Lots of sniffs, and no horrible forky lead.  Don't remind her, but I think she forgot!  Hehehe.  Of course it meant I could widdle in peace, and Tara wasn't pulling me over when I stood on 3 legs.  Actually, Tara was almost OK today.  Think that maybe she is feeli

TUESDAY 7th June: Donkeys and buttercups

Tara: So we had to wait for ages and ages cos it was hot again.  Mum wouldn't take us out all day, until it was cooler.  But that woz OK cos it meant I could bounce on Cato more! And he was quite bouncy too.  I think he got bored with sleeping all day as well. This is me after bouncing.  Mum says I look like a Hooligan.   But it was FUN.  Even more fun than helping Dad with the shed, and helping with the grocery delivery.  And it was MUCH more fun that sleeping all

TUESDAY 7th December: Walking in the dark

Cato:  Everything sniffs different in the dark, doesn't it? Mum and Dad couldn't walk us in daylight yesterday  and then Dad had to go to do his shifty thing, and Mum finished her computer stuff, and she took us for a street walk in the dark!  Tara doesn't really like it.  I think it is because she pulled most of her topknot out 5 mins before we left, so she couldn't see properly.  Wot with it being all dark.  She was spooking a lot, and once she spooked and jumped away from something right

TUESDAY 6th December: Beachy Battles

Tara:   Epic Ninja Beach Battles today!  And look, someone brushed the sand for us!  It was weird to walk on.  All soft. Cato didn't like it to start with, but then he caught up with Me and Dad. So I had to fight him. But Aunties, I think you need to have a bit of a word with Mum.  About Cato.  Cos he has been a bit weird lately, and it is all wrong.  It started with the whole gluten free thing.  I mean, I don't mind that he is so wimpy that he can't

TUESDAY 6th August: Foxy Dad :)

Cato: No walk yesterday.  too hot. But a nice Dad walk at Foxy park today.  Mum was home computering, so we didn't have the flower hunt and stuff.  So these pics are REALLY INTERESTING and SNIFFY This is my fallen branch, wot everyone has widdled on as they arrive at the park.  Veeeeery intererestink. This is were Mum and AuntieJane saw that ill pigeon and didn't tell us about it!!! Tara thinks she can still smell it. OK, so maybe you can smell pigeon.  At le

TUESDAY 5th Mar: and more rain!

Cato:    She didn't whine!  We both sat at the bottom of stairs while she bathroomed.  Then we all went outside together, and then Mum carried us up. I don't understand wot the problem is.  I just clamber into the nearest den and go to sleep.  Tara seems to have a crisis about something every night.  But i never know wot, or why.  This time it was something to do with wanting the bed i chose.  No idea why, cos i waited ages before getting in. will it ever stop raining?   Tara:   H

TUESDAY 5th July: Surprise!

Cato: We had a FAB day!  It was going to be all wet and boring, but then Dad decided to visit Pops and Mam, which is GREAT, cos we went too, and had treats and fussing and fights on their hearth rug.  It was fun until it wasn't.  Why does Tara always go too far?  And then I mountaineered up Dad's leg to get away from her, and Dad helped to pull my tail out of her mouth, and then it was nice again. After that we went to Town Park, and Dad didn't do any boring flower stuff.  So that was

TUESDAY 4th October: Cato doesn't like the beach

Tara: Cato is a BAD BOY! Cato is in the Dog House! Cato was naughty naughty naughty! (and no pics to show it) Mum had computer stuff, so Dad took us out for a fun sausage and beach walk.  It was ACE.  We watched him have his breakfast.  Then we went outside and had our sausage, and then we went down on the beach.  It was lovely and sunny and sandy and bouncy, and I was having a great time.  I was bouncing A LOT cos it was such fun, but I wozn't actually bouncing on Cato

TUESDAY 3rd May: Sniffs and hunts and fun stuff

Cato: So we went to Foxy Park today, and it was really good.  Lots and lots of sniffs, and Tara wasn't too unbearable.  And I met Jess again.  I like her. Anyway, this is wot happened: This was meeting a nice cockerpoo.  She was very friendly, and she wanted to play, but her Mum was in a hurry. and this was Jess.  I remember Jess being nice to me when I was as small as a guineapig and the park was so scary I used to hide under Mum's skirt. There were too many p

TUESDAY 30th August: Wild Woodses

Cato: Dad was at work, so it was just Mum and us, but that means we don't have to worry about Dad getting lost, and we can sniff and explore and sniff and explore. So Mum found the bear.  We think.  It doesn't really actually look like a bear.  But we think it must be.   There are other animals too.  See?  These must be brothers to our squirrel and fox in Foxy Park! and then we went into the woods...  It was all hot and baking in the sun, and all

TUESDAY 2nd Feb: Sun, wind and reed seed heads

Sidney: They have been re-doing the roof again.  Two rolls of tape now.  But there was a horrible wind, and nothing fell off, so maybe they can leave it alone now?  I spent all yesterday asleep which was nice and peaceful.  But bedtime is turning into a bit of a problem.  Now that The Brat is old enough they think they can trust her not to wee on the bed, they are allowed on the big bed for a few minutes before Lights Out.  We used to have a lovely peaceful routine.  I would get there first

TUESDAY 2nd August: Lake with Dad

Cato: Mum had lots of work stuff today, and Dad woz off work, so we took him to the big park.  It was fab and sniffy, and we showed him the donkeys and everything.   The donkeys were a long way away today.  We couldn't eat their poo unfortunately.   Tara kept trying to show off for the camera, but he didn't take many photos.   And he wandered off a bit, too.  We had to keep an eye on him.     Tara: I had to keep telling Dad to catc

TUESDAY 29th Mar: Big Bed issues

Sorry - Photobucket seems to be playing up, like it did for @Summerangel yesterday.  Hopefully the links to the pics work, even though I don't seem to be able to embed them.   Mum:   Not unexpectedly, Little Miss Sunshine has decided that the Big Bed is far too convenient to pass up.  I had to put her down into the pen 3 x last night before she actually stayed there - she just ghosted up each time, waiting til I closed my eyes, then silently appearing.  Her little brain cells have obvi

TUESDAY 28th June: Haha! I fell in the Lake!!!

Tara: I can swim!! I fell in the lake!!! It was ACE!!!  And I shook and shook and shook and bounced and bounced and bounced.  Cato didn't fall in.  I am much better swimmer than Cato.  And my sprouts enjoyed the swim too! Look.  this is where I fell jumped dived in!  Look! We were both standing on the rocky bits at the edge of the water, and I was being cute and interesting, and Cato was being thirsty.  And then he pushed me!  Or maybe my foots slipped.  Or maybe I did a swan

TUESDAY 27th September: Foxy boring foxy

Tara: I want to go mountaineering on holiday again!  This is boring.  Holidays are exciting and interesting and I have castles to climb!   We went round Foxy park today, and it was sooooooooo dull.  See: Dull   (Mum: all those elderberries have been eaten!  but who by...? Dull Dull.  Well, OK, maybe a bit interesting. This is Jack. Did I tell you that Jack once cocked his leg on Mum's foot!  hahahaha!  I probably did.  But it is so
