My sister

Tara: Hallo Aunties! I just wanted to blog to tell you how posh I am. This is my sister Rita.  She is still winning stuff and being all clever and beautiful.  Although obviously not as clever and beautiful as me, cos she is still going to boring shows and having long hair and piggy tails and stuff.  I don't do that, so that makes me clevererer, doesn't it?  I think it would be very difficult to Bounce properly on Jasmine if I had long hair like her.  But I could win shows if I wan

SUNDAY 29th May: Windy Foxy and NO BREAKFAST!!!

Cato: Mum didn't take us out to breakfast today with Auntie Jane!!!  We were left at home!!!  We woz very miserable, and Tara cried at the door. Mum says it was cos she thought it was going to rain, and she wanted to go to a weird indoor breakfast place that we have never been to before, that doesn't let dogs in.  But that is terrible.  It can't be a nice place if it doesn't let dogs in, can it? Then they came and picked us up, smelling of bacon and sausages and stuff, and we all

THURSDAY 27th October: sleepy snuggle day

Mum: We didn't walk today.  I was a bit achy (for no good reason), so we spent the day in the house and on the sofa.  Much snuggling, and brushing and playing with toys. As always, when we do this, they are both absolutely delighted with their chillaxed day, right up until the point (usually around 8pm) when Tara's energy reaches a critical pressure, and the steam HAS to be let out somehow.  This may involve barking in the garden, trying to put Cato off my lap by his tail, skittering t

Sat 11th & Sun 12th Mar: Sleep and Rain

Cato: Hi Aunties. On Saturday we slept.  Cos we were tired after our two looooooonnnnnnnnggggg treks with AuntieKimDogsitter. And on Sunday it rainedandrainedandrained.   So I did more sleeping.  And Tara did a lot of sleeping and then just burst with BOUNCE.  But Mum protected me from the worst of it, cos I was on her lap.

Holiday 2: SatNav Stress

Mum: I don't know if you have ever driven in Cornwall? Maybe you don't know where Cornwall is?  It is a smallish county on the SE pointy bit of England (the orange triangle on the bottom left) It is a tiny, lovely, rural place, with a slightly softer warmer climate than the rest of the UK.  Small towns, moorland, rolling hills, sheep and cattle farming, fishing villages, disused tin mines, old china clay mines, tourists, lots of cliffs, a few bays and sandy beaches, and every

Our holiday

Cato: Hello Aunties! Mum has finally got our holibob pics sorted, so I can show you!  Mum says that this time she kept forgetting to take pics, so there aren't many.  Phew!  She can go overboard on pics sometimes, can't she? Anyway, it was a longlonglong way away.  Jasmine didn't come.  She went to stay with Auntie Holly and her sister Dolly, so we didn't have to put up with her trampling and fidgeting in the car crate.  That was good.  Though I don't like it when the pack splits

SUNDAY 23rd October: Foxy with AuntieJane

Cato: Ooooh we had a FAB walk today.  First it was Auntie Jane and sausages!  Yay!  And then it was Foxy Park!  Yayay!!! But I did hear Mum and Autnie making strange noises about something called Gluten Free, and how there is Gluten in sausages, and how Gluten makes Thyroid stuff worse, and how my tummy should be Gluten Free.  It is a bit worrying. Anyway, here is our lovely walk: This is me and Tara meeting Becky's Mum.  Becky is the spaniel.  She was even more timid and sil

Lunch out with Dad's Mam

Tara: Hello Aunties!!! We went out with Dad's Mam for lunch.  Dad chose it special, cos he knew we could sit under table if we were veryveryvery good.  And we were!  Sort of. I may have wanted some of the special roast beef that Dad had, but mean old Mum said no.  Not til we were outside in the garden of the hotel-pub-place.   They had a nice garden with a pond  and bluebell stuff It was very nice.  All sunny and hot and sweltery.  I beat Cato up lots an

Dad's Birthday Lunch

Tara: It was Dad's Birthday ages ago, but he wanted to go to this pub for his Special Birthday Lunch.  So we did.  We had to wait til today on account of his Work Stuff and Mum's Work Stuff.  It is very complicated. Anyway, this is me saying Happy Birthday to Dad in the pub.  Mum says it is a bit out of focus, and she is sorry.  But the other pic was worser. And this is our new car in the pub carpark.  The red one. Mum went all silly and sad when she saw the gold

Train to Chester

Cato: Hallo Aunties and Esme Now you are all back, I can tell you about our holiday day to somewhere called Chester, which is an oldoldold town, with a big stinky train that went from our holiday den right up to Chester. Chester is hot and big and hard on the paws.  But it was OK cos Mum and Dad carried me some of the way, and we could sit in the garden while Mum went inside the Cathedral and took pictures of boring stuff for you. This is the train bit.  It was a bit dirty an

Introducing Jasmine, flower child extraordinaire

Cato: Hello Aunties! We have missed you! We have been off having adventures and stuff, and not writing about them. But Mum says that now we can do blogging again. I am glad about that. It has been a bit boring without you.   I sleep a lot when I am bored. I am on Mum's lap.  It is the only place I can sleep safely nowadays?  Everywhere else, Jasmine might get me.     And - most importantly, my tail is still gorgeous. The
