Cato: So Dad is feeling better, and it was OK to leave him and see Auntie Jane. I had my bottom trimmed sprecially, and Tara had her sprout pinkified. And we went for breakfast.
Auntie was late, so we had to wait for a table, but it was good cos we got to sit in the shade.
Afterwards we had sausage, and walked back to the car with Auntie J and went to the park! It was fun, but hot. Mum says it will get cooler again tomorrow, but we may not walk in the middle of the day f
Cato:
After yesterday's karate, Mum said were were going to have an easy day. So no walk.
But i have been very very sleepy.
we did have a big bounce, with pythons and bears, but i ended up snuggling with Mum on the floor. And bone-chewing takes a LOT of concentration!
This is us after our tea.
And this is my full tummy
Mum says my feet are pinker than they were a week ago.
Even Tara hasn't been bouncing much. In fact, she seems a bit quiet. And od
Cato:
It was VERY windy today. Mum nearly didn't take us out, cos she thought we might get blown away. But we asked and asked, and Tara was being such a pest, what with the sausage dramas, and beating me up, that Mum said she needed to wear her out.
We woz both pretty desperate, and hauled Mum along quite sharpish!
Once we were at Our Field, we just had to RUN and SNIFF and BOUNCE. Even Tara couldn't ruin it.
See the grasses and stuff all leaning sideways at the back
Cato: We went to the woods today. It was soooooo lovely and cool and green and sniffy.
and these soldier people stayed here ages and ages ago.

Mum doesn't let us go to these woods very often, cos before I was born there were some dog attacks (Mum: staffordshire bullterriers, I think) and some little dogs like me got splatted. It was very sad. But that hasn't happened for ages, and it is the skool holidays and lot
Too hot to walk again, I am afraid.
So I went outside, while the mutts were snoozing, and took these. As you can see, the snails got to the hosta in the end, and the ferns have done beautifully and are self seeding in the concrete cracks :). And there are no more monsters down the side passage.
I intended to scrape out all the moss, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. It makes the passage greener and less harshly concrete, doesn't it? More natural. I
Tara:
We went to see AuntieJane and had breakfast. But it wozn't sausage, cos Mum fancied scrambledy eggses and a kipper. So we had to have egg too. Cato didn't think he liked it, so I went to eat his share too, and he suddenly decided it woz delicious. Not fair!!!
Look at Me!!! This is my new Mohawky hairstyle. Mum got all crabby when she woz doing my hair, but she got there in the end. I was very good, and she gave me treats. I am always good. But it woz too neat and tidy, s
Tara:
Ooooh Aunties, it was FAB today. Not so hot, so we set off for Bear Woods. Not that we have found the bear yet! Anyway, as we left the house, it started to rain. Dad nearly turned back, but me and Mum said we wanted to get wet and splooshy, and stuff. So we did.
Best walk in AGES!!! It was sooooo lovely and cool and sniffy. Even Cato didn't wimp out, so it woz fun til the end!!!
Look at me! I am in front!
Me and Dad. He loves me. And I love him. But he
Cato:
Dad took us for a Spa day today. And we stink of baby powder. It is very tiring. And Tara doesn't help. All I want to do is snooze. Mum says we can watch tv together when she has finished blogging.
Tara:
So this is me all fluffy and b*thed and stuff. And wearing my pink and white polka dot bow. I like this one. But when you are a Supermodel Ninja, I think that hair should be able to stay in place when you do cool ninja moves on slug-like wimpy Catos, don't yo
Tara:
Auntie Jane couldn't meet us today. but it meant we could go for a big Pack Walk with Dad and Mum. And at least we got the sausages first this time!
This is me sitting waiting for my sausage. I have Bed Head, cos Dad rushed us out really early before Mum could do my hair. Mum says I still look cute though. I am sitting on the table bench. Hahaha! I hopped up when we were waiting for Dad to fetch his food, and no one told me to get down! lol.
This is when we got
Tara:
Me Today! Cato is asleep. Snoring. All floppy and worn out! Hahahaha!
Look where we went
Cliffs and castles and mountains and EVERYTHING!
and of course, I climbed EVERYTHING! See:
There were big rocky things
Mum said there wouldn't be mountains, didn't she? She was WRONG!!! hahahaha!
Dad kept trying to stop me climbing, but he gave up in the end. Cos climbing is irrisistibubble
Tara:
Gosh it was wet today. Dad says he thinks I am going to stop widdling outside when I am old and cranky like Cato. But I won't. It woz just that it was a bit of a shock to be carried downstairs all warm and snuggly and lovely, and then be dumped on the doorstep with Dad's toe scooting me up the tail! Pushing me out into the cold wetness for my morning widdle! A girl should be given time to think about these things, before being shoved out in the wet!
I may have got a bit boun
Cato: Dad had to go to work, so Mum and us went for a walk. We all wanted to try somewhere new and exciting, so Mum did GoogleFu and found us an interesting BirdReserve thing, which we all thought looked really interesting. Only it wasn't. Don't tell Mum, but me and Tara were a bit bored. Hopefully Mum won't take us there again.
IT was supposed to be all sniffy and full of interesting birds and paths and sucky sand, and stuff. But when we got there all the interesting bits had 'Keep
Cato:
It woz my first proper walk since my tummy, and my first proper walk since having proper food. Fish isn't food, is it Aunties? Fish is... is... meh!
So lots of sniffs and sun and sand and stuff. And I wore my jumper cos Mum said it was chilly, but I would have been OK cos when the sun came out it was nice.
This is First Sniff:
Mum says the light was 'magical' cos the air was totally still, no wind, and there was hazy sun.
Things are still flowering
Tara: My turn to blog! Cato has been hogging the blogging! Haha!
We went to Town Park today with Mum AND Dad today. It was fun. Though there weren't many stinky flowers for Mum. And the chicken place was shut. But it woz a fun walk. Look!
I was investigerating round the corner in that pic.
And this is all those big chestnut trees that Mum says are nice and cool and dark like a cathedral in the summer. Wotever. Did you know I went to a cathedral once. It woz very b

Cato:
Merry Xmas Aunties!!!
We had a great day. SantaPaws visited in the night, and by morning a parcel had magically appeared on the Big Bed. It was awesomely sniffy!
When we opened it, an New Python slithererered out and attacked us! It was an amazing battle!!! Me and Tara worked as a team to take it down. But it was really difficult to kill, and we had to do it overandoverandover again. Then we went downstairs for scrambledeggandsmokededsalmon breakfast (Mum: 1 teasp as a
Cato:
I love hunting! Tara says I am obsessified, but I am not. I am just very good at hunting. And when you are good at something, it is a terrible awfulness not to use your natural talent, isn't it Aunties? so I can't really help it, can I?
Dad was tired after doing his shifty thing, so we left him and home, and me and Mum and Tara went to the big lake park where there are LOTS of birds to hunt. We have pics!
I think Tara is just jealous of my hunting prowess and mojo
Cato:
oh Aunties, Dad has gone missing. We are ever so worried about him.
Mumsaid we wos going on a big adventure to see Grandma and Grandad, and it wos very exciting! There wos packing and toys and treats and everything went into our bag. And we went out to the car, and Mum and Dad loaded lots of stuff into the car, and we all set off.
But then Dad got out of the car! He said 'goodbye troops' and he told Mum He loved her, and us he loved us. And told us to be good, and we w
Tara:
Ooooh Aunties, it woz the bestest walk today! Dad came too. Mum took LOTS of pics of me on the summitty things of mountains, and beating up Cato. Look!!!
This is me on my first mountain of the day. Mum says I look proper statuesquew.
This is me and Dad on the long mountain range, while Mum and wimpy Cato stayed down on the path. I ran backward and forwards over and over again, and bounced on Cato every time! It woz ACE!!!
This is Cato in the dark.
Cato:
Hello Aunties! Sorry we haven't been blooging much lately. Mum has been doing stuff on the computer for ages and ages, and had lots of work. She had to finish it by tomorrow, so we should get some better bloggy stuff done soon.
We did get our night walks though. They are sooooooo interesting. Everything sniffs sooooooooo different after dark... Tara deosnt' like them though. She gets a bit sillier and a bit flappier.
Anyway. Today we took Dad back to the beach today.
Cato:
So when we left the castle, we went down the street past the church that is being used nowadays, and we found a fab pub!
We all had burger! and Dad had beer and Mum and me and Tara had water. Mum wanted not-water, but someone has to drive home. I wouldn't mind driving, but it is nice to snooze in the back after a lot of castling and pubbing, isn't it?
Anyway, we stayed in the pub with Mum, while Dad went churching, and museuming, and then we stayed in the pub with him, wh
Cato:
I found a BONE. It is very very big. And it is all MINE.
Mum has been messing with bones up at the top of the kitchen. Something to do with drying them slowly so they don't go too stinky (Mum: using dehydrator and venison ribs) and today, when I was coming in from my mid morning Garden Patrol, I saw it.
In the middle of the kitchen floor.
It is ENORMOUS.
It was difficult to carry.
But I couldn't leave it there for Tara to find.
So I picked it up and ha
Cato:
it is very very hot Aunties. I don't think i like it.
last night in the Big Bed, it was terrible hot, and i had to lie on my back to cool my tum! Tara did too. Although she did it sideways and tried to push Dad out of bed. And she snores even louder when she sleeps on her back.
then this evening, i had to keep getting off Mum's lap. Cos of the hotness. Mums' laps shouldn't be so hot! They should be nice and snuggly when it is cold outside, and then nice and cool when
Cato:
So Mum woz doing lamb hearts tonight for our tea.
She stood chopping them up for AGES. They have these lovely chewy pipe things on the top end, and Mum was cutting them off and throwing them for us. I was good and sat on the rug, like I am supposed to, and Tara was almost good and sat closer, near the water bowl. So I got extra bits, and Tara didn't until she came and sat with me, then we got the same amount of bits.
Then, at the end, we each had a nice big juicy bit
Cato:
hello Aunties! How are you? I am very well thank you!
It was all wet and soggy today, so Mum and Dad said ‘no walk!’ but they said they would go out Hunting and bring some prey back.
i wanted to help, cos i am an excellent Hunter, but i think they were sensible to leave Tara behind, cos she always mucks everything up, and doesn’t have proper Hunting Instincts, like me. So then I had to stay with her! Cos she always gets silly if she is left alone.
But even without
