SUNDAY 7th Feb: Auntie walk! :)

Crinkly

Sidney:

I have forgiven them.  We had a nice snuggle on the big bed, and I purred like a... a... well, I purred a lot.  Like a TIGER.  Mainly on account of the ear and cheek rub that Mum does.  And I didn't bite anyone.  Sometimes, when I have had enough of being fussed, I bite hands and arms, to tell people to stop.  Didn't need to this time.

And I kneaded the bedcovers, and my injured paw kneaded properly, for the first time since my War Wound happened.  And my broken off claws were snagging in the bedcover!  So I am really getting better!

We slept all night together, with me in the middle.

Tara:

Anuntie Jane for breakfast!  Inside, under the table!  Sausage when we got back into the car!  Walk in the Little Park!  Fun. Fun. Fun.

This is Arnty Jane:

Caqn you see how much I LOVE her?  She says I am as cute as a button.

Wot is a leg warmer?  They were talking about my 1980s legwarmer leg cut.  Do you think my back legs look like they are wearing leg warmers?

This is me sniffing an amazing circle of trees:

Cato:

We had a lovely walk.  Auntie Jane is PACK.  She was with Mum when Mum came to pick me up that first day.  And she stayed with me for hours, sitting on the floor, to help me settle in.  And she came on my first ever widdle trip into the garden.  I was so tiny then I couldn't get over the doorstep! She calls me a Gentleman, and she calls Tara a Hooligan.

The park was awesome today.  Sunny and green and dry and soooooo sniffy.

These are going to be daffodils:

Mum:

They have had a tree surgeon in to prune some of the trees.

The next two pictures are of 2 trees that were identical a few days ago.  Isn't that sad?

It is due to be very wet on Monday.  :rain: We may not get a walk. Heaven help us! :silly::silly:

:coffee:  Tara and Cato..........A great walk in the park........spring must be coming soon with all your daffodils popping up. Not to worry your trees will be beautiful, they do that around were we live. It strengthens them so they live longer. Looks like you have a very nice Auntie that loves the dickens out of you all. We all went out to play yesterday because we too are either going to have snow or rain for the next few days. When Mom opens the door we all look like we were shot our of a cannon.........:dog::dog::dog::dog::dog::dog::dog: all  running in different directions then Mom herds us up and we start our sniffin...........love to sniff. You all have lots to sniff too........Enjoy your Monday staying in where it is dry and warm.....

Sniffing is the BEST! (say the Terrible Two).

We ended up having a very soggy walk today.  What a contrast with that glorious sunlight on Sunday in the pics above.  I thank the mutts daily for forcing me out in (nearly) all weathers, you know.

Without them, I would be a non-walking slug, and would miss out on sooooooo much.

Such a lovely walk!  We must have pictures of the daffodils when they bloom.

LOL at the tree.....I am known as a pruning maniac but that is farther than *I* would go!  Looks like it's right next to a children's play area so maybe they want to be extra cautious.

Sidney - sounds like your forced indoor-only weekend was good for your booboo foot.....even if you DID think you were in jail.

What a glorious day and park. Such a lovely place for dogs to have a play.

Blimey, they didn't half cut those trees. Think you are right about it being hacked because it's close to the children's play area... Health and safety and all that!! Fingers crossed it greens up soon.

Its been very wet and very windy here...

Last night about 10 o'clock I just got up to take the dogs out to go toilet... And my word the heavens opened and the wind blew so strong. If I had let them out, it would of knocked them sideways. So we sat back down again

1 hour later the rain slowed, the wind dropped and I grabbed my moment to nip out with them so they could go toilet.. They were very quick indeed. In we came and I dried them with towel, as there were puddles of water all over the lawn... And we all went to bed...

What gorgeous pics and a great time you had with your Auntie, she looks so nice and for sure Loves you both to pieces! Love that circle of trees you found Tara and just Love you on your bench gazing so lovingly at your Auntie, soo adorable! :throb:

Wow Cato I don't blame you for being sad about that tree. :(

Glad you had a good walk today even though it was raining. I too took Missy on a fairly long walk as we're supposed to get more snow tonight and tomorrow.. Gee we just got rid of most of the snow from the last one!
