London Bound!

Well it's been awhile since I've blogged but thought this deserved an entry, :( ! Those of you who know me know that I had been planning to travel to Europe this past September with my brother. I was really looking forward to this trip only to have my brother take a new position with another company, unable to go away. This left me with the choice of either canceling or going alone. After much debating and finding an offer I couldn't refuse, I am leaving on the evening of Nov 30th and will be spending a week in London, alone :) . I am quite looking forward to going and am hoping to even possibly meet up with a couple of people from another board I'm on :( . Rose, how far are you from London?

I made a promise to myself that I would go before the year was up so I am going to keep my promise to myself. I'd never break a promise to anyone so why break my own?

I do have to share this. On Monday afternoon I went to the travel agency at the mall to see what they could do for me as I've shopped on line for a deal (wanted to know how good it really was) and one of the TV news crew was there. They ended up interviewing me for the news and did broadcast it. Of course I missed it :( but several people did see it as I have people coming up to me now asking if I booked the trip to London, lol. I did book the trip on line as it ended up being only 1/2 the cost :) , don't know why such a difference.

Well Sunlite, I think you deserve to go! Sounds like so much fun. London is on my list of things to do in my life! I hope you have a wonderful time and take lots and lots of pictures. Who is going to take care of your babies while you're gone? They will miss you, but I'm sure they understand you need a break too...

That is terrific news! You're going to love London. You might be a little bit nervous about traveling abroad by yourself, but that's okay. You're going to do great. I'm not sure the furries will understand your leaving for a week though, but that's why steak was invented. tongue.gif

I want to hear all about your trip, so post some pics when you get back!
