Tara:

We nearly didn't get a walk today!  It rained all morning, then cleared up, so we rushed out to the car and went to the Fox park - but as Mum and Dad were helping us out of the car (I can jump out myself, but I am not allowed :( ) it started to sleet!

I don't see sleet often, so it was exciting.

Cato dashed off for a poo, otherwise Mum and Dad might have decided to go home WITHOUT A WALK!!! which would have been TERRIBLE!!!

This is where Cato decided to poo.  And Dad picking it up.  He went a long way, didn't he?  Dad was not happy.

Dad was on Poo Pickup Duty today.  They take it in turns.  Me and Cato don't know why they do it.  We want to leave our poo around for other people to sniff, cos we like sniffing poo.

Anyway, we had a good fight

And Cato tried to steal my stick!

And then Dad had to do Pickup No 2 - Mine :dribble: I supervised.

Cato:

It was very cold and wet.  Mum wore her hat and gloves.  And we ran about a lot to keep warm.

When we ran along the path there were splatty squishy splashy noises.  Mum tried to photograph the splashes we made in the puddles, but it was too wet and she was fussing with the camera and worrying it would get wet or something.

These are 2 VERY INTERESTING sniffy holes.  We both sniffed them a lot.  I got right in, and put my front paws in the bottom.  Is this what rabbits smell of?  Wouldn't it be fabulous if we got rabbits moving into the park?  Although they must be very silly rabbits to dig homes here.  It is just beside the children's play area.

There were seagulls too.  And we chased them off.  We don't often see seagulls trespassing on our park.

Mum also phaffed about taking photos of our tummies and a stinky flower for you.  Which just made us colder.  It rained and sleeted and snowed in turn during our walk.  The sky was dark grey.  That is why it was so dark.  You can see the hailstones in the 1st poo pickup photo.  Mum says it is proof that she loves us very much.  But we knew that anyway, we don't need hail to prove it.  Treats would be better proof.

Sidney:

Another cold wet windy day.  They insisted on leaving the window open all morning.  Blamed me for it!

I was curled up on the Big Bed trying to keep warm, and they made the house nearly as cold as outside.  Ridiculous.

No one has asked after my War Wound recently, I notice.

So I shall tell you anyway.  I am still limping.  Worse when I have been using it a lot.  So obviously, I do as little as possible.

Oh My that hail is Something!! Unbelievable that mom and dad were out there walking you, you're Right that's true Love!!:throb:. Looks like you all had a Great time out there and Love your pics! But Sidney I think you're the smartest staying in and sleeping during the storm! ;) Sooo sorry to hear you're still limping and have problems with your war wound- doing as little as possible and being waited on is always the best approach!! :ohyeah:

We prop Sid's window open with a cat food bowl (this dates from when we were not sure he would be happy using the window, and used to put a few tempting treats into the bowl to encourage him to spend time on the windowsill).  If we don't prop the window open, the window could blow shut in a gust of wind, and we wouldn't want that happening and cutting him, or his tail in half!

He agrees with this thinking. :)

So, anyway, it made me laugh out loud this morning when I went to open his window for his morning trundle, and found 1/4 inch of rainwater sloshing about in his bowl - must have blown in through the windo from the hail and stuff yesterday morning.

No wonder he ignored the open window yesterday! :dribble:
