And Trust me Aunties when I say I wish it Wasn't.... Yup you got it, it was 'B' day... And it was Awful... :(

It started out good, I shoulda known somethin was up! Mom got going sooner than usual and took me out for my walk while it was a little cooler, she said we'll have to start doing that earlier this year since it's gotten hot already.. Then when we came back yup it was Time...

It was awful from the beginning. Mom had that crazy new tub and put it in the bathroom this time but the hose thingy wouldn't stay on the bathroom faucet and I hated the whole thing anyway and Really tried to get out this time. And daddy wasn't there and well it was just plain Awful, mommy said I was a jerk... Water was Everywhere except on me.

I thought mommy was gonna give up but you'll never guess what happened instead... She put me in the Real tub and got in there with me and we had to do the whole thing All over again. Something bout I had to get rinsed good and I wasn't even bathed good... Oh Man was this even Worse than normal. It was Not a good day At All. Then mommy said that wasn't the worst, she said my yeast was comin back and I may have to have a bath Every week...NOOOOoo :noway:

Since it was nice out mommy did let me go outside to finish drying so that was nice.

Oh yeah and mommy wanted me to show you we have daffodils blooming now! But I thought there was better smelly stuff than them!

Oh yeah, I don't know if you could see in the other pics but I got my first Spring haircut too! Mommy took a lot off but I'm still panting a lot so she said she may have to do more later after I get more used to the warmer weather. Here I am with my new doo! :)

Mommy said I absolutely did her in today, you'd think she'd just give up on bath day wouldn't you Aunties! ;) But here's the best part, actually the Only good part of bath day!! Do you see me????

Mommy did my wash! No matter What mommy says Aunties I did Not use All those towels today, I didn't get That much water all over! :roflmao: They're my nesting towels and blankets, mommy has them all over the house for me and she says they have to be cleaned when I get cleaned! :) and mommy puts them in the chair and I jump up in the warm towels and burrow waaay down in there! Then I jump up and surprise mommy! I'm a Good helper huh?!! ;) Well me and mommy are beat, bet we sleep good tonight! ❤️Missy

Oh Auntie Jo I Knew you'd understand. Oh I got this awful yeast infection about this time last year, spring time anyway. I get it on my back, my belly and well between my paw pads, when the dr tested all those places showed yeast. Mommy treats my feet most all year cuz I always chew them but when I get the dark places on my back and my belly like I'm starting to again I gotta have this special shampoo and a vinegar rinse. Ugh.. Mommy started my antihistamines again too so I sure hope she caught it before I gotta go get those big meds from the dr. Mommy hopes cutting my hair helps too. It'll help with the ticks anyway, daddy got his first tick yesterday- Yuk tick time too!:yucky:

Sounds horrible.

Cato has this recurring yeast in his right ear.  He never scratches, but the fur is pink, and there is pink crusty stuff too.

We have used vet treatment, which definitely worked, but it came straight back.

And we have used essential oil treatment, which worked but left him with a greasy ear and neck, but it came straight back.

I am currently using a colloidal spray, in his ear, once a day.  Seems to be working great, but he HATES having the hissy spray in his ear.  What is interesting, is that this time, the pink fur is going brown, instead of staying pinkish - almost as if, this time, the yeast is actually dying, rather than staying dormant on the hair shafts.  Hope that makes sense.

Will let you know what happens.

Cato is prone to pink stains on his feet, which I think is all the mud and water when we walk, and a little around his eyes and nose.  I have started spraying his face too, and some colloidal silver gel for his legs.  My main problem is remembering to use the dratted stuff often enough.  I struggle to even remember my vitamins, let alone gelling Cato's tootsies!

Oh how could I forget my ears, yup I got it there too! Mom has her nose in my ears Every day, and when they start to smell she uses that ear stuff (epi-Otic). It's usually at least once a week she cleans them with that and they stay ok then.  Never tried the colloidal silver for that but great idea! Mom puts the gel on my feet too it helps some. I don't like the spray sound either! Mom either puts it on a cotton ball or on her hand so I don't have that spray hitting me! Maybe Cato would be ok like that?

Cato thinks a dropper bottle would be a much better idea!  Thank you. :)  Need to get it right down into the ear canal, and down past the furry bit. lol.  Cato has IMMENSELY furry ears.  They are like tufty little shag pile carpets.

The colloidal silver water seems to really clean the ear out and loosen any 'gunk' but it does leave the ear wet, of course.  But I don't think that will be a problem, cos it is silver water, so will be anti viral and anti bacterial, even if it is also damp.

So sorry to hear that 4 letter word B-A-T-H.....it gets used at our house quiet often too. I am lucky cause my coat stays clean for a long time so I am always the last to get bathe........Now Sophie not so lucky she usually gets more bathes then the rest of us. So sorry to hear your yeast is back. Spring time allergies I guess. Lucy is having to stay in the house when we go outside to play cause she starts coughing.......she can go on the porch but not in the grass.  I know your Mom will have you fixed up in no time and the yeast will be gone. I like nice warm fluffy towels too. You know I have to be around my Mom all the time.....have to watch nothing happens to her.....and in the morning her and Dad go out in the hot tub to soak, they like the bubbly water. Mom takes these huge towels and warms them up in the dryer and when I get on my bench near the tub she wraps me up in those warm towels and I sit nice until she is done in the tub. Love those warm towels. Mom gave me my spring cut already but I still get hot.........I know where the big water bowl is and that helps cool me off. Then when Mom opens the door I do a belly splat on the tile floor.....now that is cool.

Oh I Knew you'd understand Bailey, boy are you Lucky you don't have to be bathed as often, I sure wish I could be like that.. Yup I think it's spring allergies too, I keep sneezing when we're out walking but I sure hate to miss my walks, Mommy's giving me those allergy pills now so that should help. Oh and she got to thinking about Auntie Jo's post and today she tried some of that silver stuff on my back and belly, she said if that works maybe I won't have to have a bath next week, wouldn't that be Great?! Let's keep our paws crossed!! Wow your mornings in your warm towel sound Great, you have Lots of fun!! :throb:Missy
