You know that this means you are an Archaeologist Sniffer Dog, don't you?   and there are Very Very few dogs that can claim that title!

perhaps Mom should have a look for a gold lined food bowl for you.   There is something called Practical Archaeology, where people do stuff like the oldies used to do - you know, like living in old houses without running water and fridges and stuff.  You could do a Practical Archaeology Project on what it is like eating out of a gold bowl.

you could get famous!

better take good care of those bowl pieces.  They are very, very precious!

Thank you Auntie Jo, I Knew You'd understand! Oh boy I wanna be in a a archaeology project with No Water and No Baths, Yes!! Along with my gold bowl of course!! Great Idea, I'll get mom on getting that gold bowl!! 

yep my roast and cabbage was great and yum I had pumpkin cheesecake too! I'm stuffed now and gonna go sleep it off, mom says I better not have cabbage farts tonight! How could she even think such! Missy

I love picking up old crockery after a hard rain or around old homesteads...yes even frontiersmen had crockery Missy and if you gather enough you can imagine the life they lived way back when.

Even more cool would be Indian Flint works....That's really exciting..just imagine the hunters making their arrowheads and coming back with a big old boar...ooooo can you imagine the whole hog on a open fire, slowly cooking to perfection and heaps of crackling to chew on ...yum yum....Your dog bowl would be filled to the brim

Phew! Better than what happened here last night....Pip jumped up to rush to his pee pad...had his smelly poo. But a little dribbled out onto the floor away from it....Guess where my foot landed in the dark???? Then stepped back and it another bit caught the other heel...ohhhh 

Lesson to self......Dont go walking in dark anymore lol

Oooh Nooo poor Pip, poor you, yuk! Sure hope Pip feels better today.  Oh Wow Auntie Crystal do you Really think I could find stuff from the frontiersman Wow! And Indian flint Works! How cool would That be?!!  I thought I found an arrowhead yesterday but mommy was afraid daddy was gonna burn dinner so we had to go home... I'm gonna go back there and Make her look at it!! I sure will show you what else I find! I just Love hunting for good stuff around here!Missy

Oh Missy your a hoot.........cabbage farts of all things. Mom was laughing when she read your blog and said to me THANK GOD THAT IS ONE THING YOU ALL DON'T DO IS FART..........little does she know we do......we blame it on Dad when he is snoozing in the chair.  What great finds you were able to dig up.......very pretty bowl. All we have ever found is medicine bottles or chips of blue glass.......My Mom loves to find things so I too keep my nose to the ground just in case. I am so jealous of what you had for dinner last night, I am really disappointed in my Mom cause she is Irish and most all the time fixes a special dinner but not last night......I will put the quilt trip on her today. We were outside ALL day yesterday and everyone was ready for bed last night.....so I will give her a break. But your dinner sounded yummy and cheesecake to boost. If my Mom does not get her act together I am heading to your house. I know your Mom is nice enough she will take me in.......I might be a bit intimidated by your Dad though............

Hi Missy,

Cato, Tara and I have been wondering how you are sleeping nowadays.  Tara has been having a few bad nights lately, and it reminded us about your sleep digging, and whether you and you Mum were sleeping better?

Aww thanks so much for asking Auntie! I did have a couple more digging nights. mom timed them and said they were both a minute or under and each time she talked to me and rubbed my head and when I looked at her my eyes were fine. Mom did her book checking thingy and said all she could come up with was they were all on a moon cycle (new and then full) And  all were also when she had a migraine. Mom said she's trying to figure out now if I sensed her migraines or caused them - she's soo mean!  Missy

Note from mom- don't tell Missy but new moon is next week- waiting to see what happens...

Keep us posted I would be interested to know if the moon has anything to do with it.............

Sure will let you know Jeannie, I'm praying it's not the moon cycles, she's sooo young I don't think I can take a reaction to the cycles again, especially for that many years...  

Yeah well Lacy Underalls given I hadn't had a migraine in quite awhile and then two in a row, coinciding with her night scratching, my bet is on caused them but will let you know! 

I know I don't have to remind you but be sure keep this all written down on a calendar so you can refer back to the dates and time it took place. I even go as far as the weather conditions......the air pressure of fronts that move across can cause some issues also......right along with the moon.

Thanks Jeannie, I do keep my book and have noted most of that but didn't write down the weather and pressure, will add that. I Really can't thank you enough for all your tips, keeping this book is a Godsend! The vets are amazed Everytime I take my book out and it has helped everyone so much, they even say they need to start doing it for theirs!  Thank you, thank you from the bottom of my and Missy's hearts!
