WEDNESDAY 30th Mar: Ace Foxy walk!
Tara:
So, we had a fab walk today at Foxy Park! This is me and Dad
and this is me splatting Cato over in the wilderness area (see my cunning tail grab manooover?)
And this is him pathetically trying to chase me, in a really wimpish feeble way
Ooops! So, er, actually this this him catching me. But only cos I let him!
So then I had to get my revenge in the car park bit where Mum shouts at us if we fight - in case we get run over
And this is when he was trying to get me back! Again! He never seems to know when I have squished him into the ground!
And this is us at the Foxy bench.
I just jumped down, and you can see my tail nicely. We played Truffle Hound and some woman came over with a Shih Tzu. We thought she was going to say hello, but her dog was nasty and went for Cato. But he was trying to sniff her bottom without asking first, and that isn't nice. So I didn't mind her telling him off. I don't like it either. And then she got her phone out of her pocket and asked for photos of us, to show her daughter.
Cato can tell you about all the stinky flowers and stuff.
Cato:
So I will get Mum's flowers out of the way first, and then tell you the interesting stuff.
Here is a Fatty Plant, or something. Mum says it has survived the winter amazingly well. They usually go all yellow and saggy. But that is cos it was mild. Didn't feel mild to me and my paws and my cold undercarriage, and all that frozen mud!!!
And Mum says these are hyacynths or something, now they have grown up enough to tell.
and there is still only one red tulip so she didn't pic that one again, cos it would have been the same.
And these are GRAPE hyacinths. The grapy bit is important, she says.
Mum doesn't know what sort of baby tree this sprout is, but she will find out soon when the furry bits grow leaves.
Did you see the pigeon hiding up in the tree out of reach? Cheat!
This is nettle sprouts. I don't like nettles. But I bet I could get Tara to run into them, if I angle it right...
This is were the rain went, on the day we didn't walk.
And look! the best bit last - foxy is definitely living there. it is all clean and neat and even Mum's nose can tell it smells of stinky fox.
We are off to see Aunty DogSitter Kim tomorrow, and Mum says we are going to stay there ALL DAY, because Mum and Dad are going to Leeds for the day. Whatever Leeds is. So we have to be very good. And we are going to take a packed breakfast, and treats, and our beds. And I bet we will turn up on Facebook again, cos we did last time. Well, Tara did. Doing her butter-wouldn't-melt face in their front room. But Mum says we should go to sleep in the afternoon, cos we will be tired after our long walk. And then time will pass really quickly, and then next thing we know, they will be arriving to pick us up. Is she right, Aunties? Does time go quicker like that?
Mum:
She got on the bed at 3.20am this morning, and was dumped unceremoniously back into the pen - and stayed there. Ha!
But then as soon as I got out of bed this morning, she waited til I was out of the room and was up and rambling the bed. As Dad says 'I wouldn't mind if only she lay down and snoozed' but after all night in the pen, I just don't think she can keep still for another second. Will give it til the weekend when he goes back on shift before moving the bedroom round AGAIN.
