SUNDAY 29th May: Windy Foxy and NO BREAKFAST!!!
Cato:
Mum didn't take us out to breakfast today with Auntie Jane!!! We were left at home!!! We woz very miserable, and Tara cried at the door.
Mum says it was cos she thought it was going to rain, and she wanted to go to a weird indoor breakfast place that we have never been to before, that doesn't let dogs in. But that is terrible. It can't be a nice place if it doesn't let dogs in, can it?
Then they came and picked us up, smelling of bacon and sausages and stuff, and we all went to Foxy Park.
Mum says it is a Bank Holiday weekend again. But it was also cold and windy, so we weren't expecting many people.
First Big Sniff:
Too many people:
This is Becky.
She is Lhasa Apso, with a pink sparkly collar. She used to have 2 older sisters, but they both died and now she is left by herself. Her Mum says 'no more dogs, I am too old' so Becky is lonely. She wanted to play, but she was so desperate that she pushed me about a bit, so I didn't want to play. She is a bit um... plump. so when she pushed me, it was a bit rough. Wish we could see her more often, and then we could play regularly, and then she wouldn't be so desperate.
And Mum and Auntie got cross with this boy.
He walked all the way around the park teasing his poodle with the ball, and he only threw it twice. Isn't that mean? She was so focussed on the ball, and she just wanted to runandrunandrun and he kept teasing her and pretending to throw, and she was soooo excited. It was mean. Mum wanted to tell him off, but decided not to. When people are bullies like that, getting told off just makes them meaner to their poodles, doesn't it?
So it wasn't a very nice day - until we met William and Bella, and then it got MUCH better.
Tara:
We saw William again!!! William is GORGEOUS! He is my HERO.
I did my sniffy, flirty stuff, and ran about and squeaked, and lay down and tried to get him to sniff my knickers. But he wanted to play with Cato. And then Bella came over.
She is OK I suppose. I think she is a BullTerrier. She is only 5 months, and very, very gentle. She walks with her Dad every Sunday. He is quiet and nice too. We all sniffed and met each other and it was nice.
Mum:
The variegated tree turns out to be a sycamore. And as we were looking today, we saw several other ones with partial variegation, but usually all over the tree, not just very white on a single branch. I feel very unobservant that I have never noticed this before! lol.
Lots of stunning new growth and interesting colours.
And finally, just for Crystal:
