Pink's New Music Video

I love music but have never really been a big fan of Pink, until today. I have to tell you that I've heard her new song called "Stupid Girl" and wasn't really sure what I thought about it till I saw this video. I am LMAO as this video is the best, it is so funny and very true at the same time. I hope it makes it to the top and stays there for some time as it really sends a positive message out for young girls. If you have not had a chance to see it, you can view a stream of it here: Clicky

This is definitely something long overdue and all those "so called role models" like Britney, Paris, Jessica, etc, are not exempt from this video

Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

AMEN, Sunlite. I have three daughters, and it is soooo scary. What the heck is normal, what has happened to people. It's tough even watching the Disney channel. We have our rules and I really don't care that all their friends can get piercings, die their hair, wear make-up, show their bellies.....uh uh, they are beautiful girls the way they are...not in my house. I think parents are afraid to say no, they want to be cool, be their friends. Sorry to ramble, it makes me crazy. It's tough out there. Two of my girls are in middle school, and I also have a boy in high school.....the things I see make me both very sad but also makes my skin crawl. Back to Pink, she has done some great stuff. Family portrait was so sad but so true for many as well. Ramble ramble I do ! Have a great day! :bye1:

Susan,

I saw this video recently and was cracking up...I'm not a big Pink fan, but have to applaude her for bringing up this issue in a funny way. Most of these girls (and guys) are so in need of attention that they will do anything to make the headlines. They don't contibute in anyway but act foolish. But we have to remember that they are free to do as they choose.

Baxter,

It must be very difficult to bring up children these days...I don't have any, by choice. I guess our parents thought the same of us at one time. But I still believe you can raise healthy kids without being to extreme one way or another.
