Hurt my back before even starting so I had to keep stopping with Pip and lay down for a bit...Will finish him off tomarrow morning and do his legs and head.

Had to laugh at the lad...he kept sitting down and looking to see if I left his wee wee intact...I giggled at his reaction. First time his old fella felt air in 3 years :roflmao:

Hehehehe I was thinking the same thing Susan when watching them play......Should I go shorter here and there....Only thing that will hold me back is it will soon be a long dark cold winter. But come next spring ? Who knows

I know it isn't relevant to you, but I have found that in the winter, the shorter the better on the tummy.

It seems counter intuitive, but Cato has such short legs (!) that his chest is lowslung, so long hair on his underside gets wetter and muddier, and takes longer to dry.  If we keep it really short, a quick wipe with a towel and he self dries in minutes.  Even blow drying is quicker.

It was quite an effort to explain this to the groomer.  She was all for letting them have more fur underneath, but then they stayed cold for longer, and if we go visiting, or take them out to eat after the walk, they can be sitting with wet fur for far too long...

I suppose it is because our winters are cold and wet, rather than cold and dry...

I have one of these back supports that I use when I groom my paws......I suffer from muscle spams and this support belt relieves me from having to deal with back aches........plus I use it when I work in the yard/garden.  This one is from Amazon.......just a thought.

okay Crystal you got a lot of positive feedbacks on this support belt so you either need to put this on your Christmas list or just get into a mood and the only cure for your mood is retail therapy...............:tracy:
