WEDNESDAY 2nd November: Bouncy Beach
Tara:
Hahaha! We had a GREAT walk today. Look. This is my Beach Face:
I am wearing my blue bow, and have sand in my eyebrows. It was ACE!!!
First of all we went to have lunch with Dad in the sausage place beside where Dad works. And then he left to start being shifty. Or doing his shifty thing. Wotever.
So we went down ontot he beach, and Mum gave us sausage. But it woz weird. They weren't the usual sausages. They came out of a plastic bag! Mum says that now Cato is Gluten Free, we have to have Gluten Free sausages, so she cooks us Special Sausages and brings them with her. I don't care. so long as I get sausage. Actually, I think Mum's sausages are nicer. And juicier.
This is First Sniff
This is me on a Beach Mountain.
I would have gone further, but I knew that Mum was keeping some Special Sausage in her pocket, so that Cato didn't try going back to the car. Every time Mum saw him heading for the steps off the beach, she got another bit of sausage out of her pocket. It was like magic.
Cato:
I got a bit left behind cos I was sniffing at the wood thing. It smelled LOVELY!!!
And then I had to runandrunandrun to catch up. I could see Tara was waiting to bounce on me
See?
It is a bounce ambush, isn't it?
I wish she wouldn't. I was trying to circle round, but she just jumps up and charges me.
Anyway. Here we are a bit later investigating the seaweedy bits
This is a good shot of my tail, don't you think? It nearly looks OK again.
This is Bonnie. She had a ball. And she was very wet. And she got a bit worried when her Mum was standing by our Mum, and she couldn't see her.
There were lots of paws on the beach today. This brown and white paw came charging up to us VERY FAST. But when they saw we didn't want to play, they went charging off, just as fast.
This is a black German Shepherd. It was HUGE. And it wasn't interested in us at all.
There was also a Jack Russell. His Mum was standing beside him laughing, while he dugandduganddug. He had made a hole so deep that only the tip of his tail stuck out the top. Our Mum said 'He's a man with a mission!'
And the Jack Russell's mum said 'Yes, he wants to visit Australia!'
