Good question. Donte has had fairly long ears before and I think they suit him shorter. Also he sometimes gets the hotspot and when he scratches around that area it gets all knotty. 

I can't wait til Dolly's reaches her shoulders

So cute they both are!  Love how you do their legs!  I like long ears too but one drawback is that I have to wash them after every meal.  Their Honest Kitchen is the consistency of canned dogfood.  Course I could make them snoods, I just dont seem to get around to it.

Bristolle Noel could not eat without her snood, and I never have to wash her face after meals at all .I ain't even thought about Dolly's ears getting long and needing one too, well I guess I will be making her one like Bristolle Noel's
