It certainly is hot, especially at night when the breeze stops and it gets real still...hope you two stay cool as you can

Eventho I'm cold natured, I like winter time best.crazy huh? I like the fireplace, snow, snuggling...crazy I know.most people love Summer time best

Oh dear  -  we are TOO HOT in this part of California!  We are sweltering through a heat wave that is supposed to last until the night of 4 days hence.  Can we say UGH!!  105*

We do have AC so I shouldn't complain but doing anything outside is miserable.  My heart goes out to the folks whose jobs have them working outdoors during the day.

We have a daughter who lives over on the coast - she and her sister made plans for Father's Day Lunch.  They have planned to do it here.......105*.  I had hoped we would go over to the coast where daughter #1 lives........but no such luck.

That's OK - the restaurant will be air conditioned and if they want to come over to our cottage we can make it cool.  

But would LOVE to be over on the coast and the ocean breezes. 

I sympathize, Cato. There is nothing good about summer. Nothing. Give me lovely, cozy cold weather!

I do LOVE summer, I love the long days the warm weather and occasionally the hot weather here in the UK. 

Winter is a different story--- too cold and miserable looking...

Ooh Cato you are sooo right it's way too hot, I can't even stay on the bed it's too hot.. I feel for you Cato, Molly snores awful too- mommy says it's like the Rock Island Line coming through! Do you think Molly and Tara snore cuz they're black and white? I mean we don't snore and we're light, I prefer to say we're champagne color!  Do ya think under the bed would work Cato, cooler and Maybe we can't hear the snoring as bad!  Me an mommy are spring girls, we like the nice cool breeze!Missy

If we didn't have Central AC, I probably would have a fan on my pup and put a couple of frozen plastic ice packs under a towel and give him the option to sleep on top of them if he wants too.

I put the fake ice in his car seat and he loves it.

Mom loves Springtime  because everything is brand new growing and so dark green outside with no leaves turning yellow.

But little me loves Winter <woof> 

We have ice beds for the show dogs to lay on at the hot shows where we have to groom outside.  I can give you info on where to get them if you like.

Cato, I know what you mean!  It has been sweltering here, too! Coco and Benji like to sit in my lap but I've had to make them get down because it is so hot.  They like laying on the cool floor to nap.  Sometimes, I turn the AC down so that we can sit together but it doesn't last for long. They get hot and so do I.  

There is something to be said for the cooler months.
