Hi, I am new to this forum. Think this is an awesome idea so thank you to whomever set this up! We just adopted a rescue who is 8 years old. Zoey came from deplorable conditions. She has been an absolute joy in the 2 weeks she has been with us. Zoey has cataracts and dry eye (KCS) and am curious to know if there are any highly recommended vitamins (organic) or any natural remedies you can make to help delay the progression of the cataracts? Help with her dry eye? She is on an anti-inflammatory for KCS. Also, Zoey is pretty well potty trained thanks to her foster mom but she has been "marking" my livingroom carpet. I haven't caught her in the act so telling her no after the fact is pointless. We've chosen not to crate her given the conditions she was in for 8 years (poor baby). Any ideas on how We can break her desire to mark? Appreciate all feedback.
I need HELP my 9 month old shih tzu, Rigatoni HAS NOT STOPPED marking his territory. It's so bad that we have had to block off all carpeted areas of our condo. At the same time I cannot take him anywhere without him marking. We go to my parents house every Sunday (they have two dogs) and he pees all over the carpets in the kitchen it's a nightmare. Even when we take him to petsmart for training he peed 6 times! I'm so fed up and frustrated it makes me so upset. I'm 7 months pregnant and I can't be doing this any more. i am begginggggggg anyone that has advice to help me. Nothing is working, and we haven't had him neutered yet, but I'm thinking at this point it won't even work.
