Italian Mushrooms

1 pound medium fresh mushrooms

1 large onion, sliced

1/2 cup butter, melted

1 envelope Italian salad dressing mix

In a 3 quart slow cooker, layer mushrooms and onion. Combine butter and salad dressing mix; pour over vegetables. Cove and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until vegetables are tender. Serve with a slotted spoon. Yield: 6 servings.

1/2 cup equals 90 calories...........5 carbs.

I have made this 3 differant ways and this is the best way to prepare this dish. Very tasty!! Makes a great side dish for a large meal.

Mmm...sounds yummy! :) I've made the same thing, except used ranch mix :). I think I will try this one!

I love mushrooms, but the family - not so much. I wonder if I could do half the recipe. Can't go wrong with any dish that has butter :D
