Vespertine 200
The past two nights, Effie has dragged parts of her poop around the room. She sleeps in a separate bedroom, with her kennel, bed, water, puppy pads, and a few toys. She normally poops on her pads once overnight and will often eat some of it if we aren't there to interrupt her, but this poop moving is new. She's been leaving large pieces of it in front of or behind her kennel. She was exhausted when we put her to bed last night (we had company until midnight) and seemed like she'd been sound asleep when I got her up this morning, so I can't imagine she was full of excess energy overnight. Any thoughts? I'd love to nip this in the bud!

Vespertine 200
I know, right? I'm wondering if moving her dinner to earlier in the day may be the best solution to see if I can get her to poop before she goes to bed.
PipsMom 34,988
Sounds like a wise move and maybe a walk to stimulate the gut so she's empty come bedtime
