pat 0
There is a rescue furbaby near me that I'm going to call about. Any advice about questions to ask, what to look for, what to be concerned about? Pat
tashi love 5
Most rescue organizations have a very indepth application process. As far as questions you might want to ask, that depends on what you are willing to do as far as rehabilitation and training etc. If you can be as honest as possible with yourself then you will know what to ask about. Often rescues are strays and have no history,or have special needs so you have to be prepared to handle whatever comes up. If for example the dog is older and has spent it's life sleeping in a human bed then I think it would be unfair to crate it at night unless you are willing to totally crate train the dog so that it enjoys the crate. Good Luck.
