TUESDAY 8th Mar: Sniffy Heaven
Cato:
After last time, Mum decided we were going to do a street walk today. Without Dad who has to go to work during our walks for days and days. Mum says we will miss him, but will just have to manage.
It was a nice walk. Lots of sniffs, and no horrible forky lead. Don't remind her, but I think she forgot! Hehehe. Of course it meant I could widdle in peace, and Tara wasn't pulling me over when I stood on 3 legs. Actually, Tara was almost OK today. Think that maybe she is feeling a bit wimpy after yesterday. But we didn't meet any dogs, so she didn't go all silly.
Told Mum not to waste time of pics of boring houses too. Only sniffs, we said. So this will probably be the best set of photos you ever see. We have to be firm sometimes, or she gets all artsy and starts taking pics of really weird stuff that NO ONE wants to see.
Here we go:
This is the alley behind our garden. It smells of the fox, and cats and even rats, maybe. Sidney brought a rat home once. But it was only a baby, so it probably doesn't count.
And these are the sniffs. There were more, but Mum is only human and just doesn't understand that she should be taking photos of them ALL.
Tara:
It was a good walk. I kept an eye out for more Brutuses, but there weren't any this time. And we got to trot fairly fast at times. Poor humans. They only have 2 legs you know. Must be very difficult to move around at all, but it is a bit frustrating that they don't RUN!
Sometimes we help by pulling a little.
Mum:
Have they finished? Am I allowed to speak?
We also saw these, just in case the whole sniff obsession sent you to sleep.
Oh, and @Marlene there was another Photnia Fraseri (or whatever you called it). A bit less red. I couldn't take a pic because it was right in someone's front garden, and I thought standing photographing their house was a bit rude. Besides, I was being chivvied along by the Hounds.
Sidney:
All rats count. Doesn't matter if they are babies, adults, roadkill or slavering giants from the sewers. Rats are difficult.
