TUESDAY 28th June: Haha! I fell in the Lake!!!
Tara:
I can swim!! I fell in the lake!!! It was ACE!!! And I shook and shook and shook and bounced and bounced and bounced. Cato didn't fall in. I am much better swimmer than Cato. And my sprouts enjoyed the swim too!
Look. this is where I fell jumped dived in! Look!
We were both standing on the rocky bits at the edge of the water, and I was being cute and interesting, and Cato was being thirsty. And then he pushed me! Or maybe my foots slipped. Or maybe I did a swan dive! Mum wasn't watching she was doing boring chatting with Auntie Jane, so she missed all the fun.
Then there was Auntie Jane squeaking, and Mum calling me, and water everywhere, but my keen Ninja swimming instincts kicked in, and I paddled and kept my nose up, and it was fun! I started out across the lake towards the fountain, but Mum called me, and I did a really cool racing curve and headed back towards her! Such control! Such a smooth swimming action! She was really impressed. And Auntie Jane had stopped squeaking by now, and had got hold of Cato, who was watching from the boring bank, in a really boring way. He can't swim, you know.
Anyway, when I got to the side, Mum reached down and helped me out under the armpits, and I got out and shook lake water over EVERYONE! Hahahaha!
And then I ran about and beat up Cato, and chased ducks and had a fab time. It was GREAT!
See how good Today's Triple Sprout looks? Lots of people thought I was REALLY CUTE til the realised I was soaking wet. Hahahaha!
This is me watching the ducks. I could have got them, you know. Cato couldn't, cos he CAN'T SWIM! Ha!
Mum:
Anyone else wondering if she is now going to try and be a Karate Ninja WaterHound now?
Pray for me.
Cato:
Tara was very naughty today. I think she was showing off cos we had a Special Day Off Meet Up with Auntie Jane in Town Park. It was very exciting.
She explored the Band Stand.
And we met Louis the cockerpoo. We met him twice actually, and he really wanted to play both times.
The first time I played with him a bit, while Tara hid on a bench. But he got too rough and I had to tell him off! I got quite cross. And his parents were laughing. Which was a bit rude, wasn't it?
Then the second time we met him, he asked to play again, and we did. And Tara joined in!
Normally, she NEVER beats up anyone but me. This time was ACE. We ganged up on Louis and played together, and circled him and did synchronated sneaky side attacks. It was FAB. Tara loved it. She got so excited that she was all scrambly on the rocks after, and fell in the lake.
She is pretending she fell in on purpose, but she didn't. I saw it all. She slipped. And I DIDN't push her. Though I wish I had.
And she thinks she is so clever and brave. But she doesn't realise she has to have a bath now.
