Cato:

Mum had a busy week, on account of doing Mum stuff upstairs.  Sorting and cleaning and wardrobing and stuff.  The walks were once with Mum and three with Dad, and one day off cos of rain.  But we can't remember all the details, cos they were AGES ago now, so Mum said we could do afew blog thingies at once and catch up all in one go, so sorry if this is very long. :)

Tara doesn't understand wot Mum means, cos she can't remember wot happened yesterday, let alone 3 days ago, so I will do the blogging until we catch up.

This was our trip around the Big Lake, with Mum.

We had a pigeon hunt

this is the skate and mountain bike park across the beck.  the man stared at Mum a lot.  I think he wondered why she was taking pictures of him.

and the water was really high cos of all the rain that has been stopping us walking. :(

These are baby thistles.  There are lots of them. They are the size of Mums littlest claw.

Tara tried splatting me, but I had had enough,

so I did a Fu Dog on her, and she stopped being a pest.  for a bit.

and there was this nice man who had come out fishing on his motability scooter.  When Mum and I get old, we are going to have one of these for dog walks.  I can sit in the basket, and she can drive,  Tara can run along behind.

Thank you very much Cato, what a great narrator you are and I enjoyed your walk with sister and mum.

It struck me today how fast the summer has flew by as I looked at your pictures...The waning days of summer ? Sigh......grass has already set its seed and yellowing for next year.....and it's a downer to think all mums flowers will soon be gone. So that means mum has got to take extra pictures right? :roflmao:

I saw you checking out all that mud and it gave me a tickle that your thinking about splashing right in the middle wasn't you..:prop:   Your sister looked extra pretty in her pictures ( I know you won't pass that along to her will you? ) ?

The picture of the tunnel reminded me of somewhere familiar a long long way from here....a distant fond memory......wonder where it lead to...oh well maybe next time aye?

Thank you AuntiePip'sMom, I had a lovely big drink in that puddle though! :)

Mum says she knows which tunnel you mean, and one say soon, when it isn't too muddy... hahahaha!

You know, Cato, I think a lot of us will be in need of a mobility scooter eventually!  I'm sure you will enjoy your rides in the basket!  Especially on those hot days! :judy:  :hysterical:  Looks like such a nice walk.  That Fu Dog move was nice, Cato! What did Tara think of it? :judy:

Haha!  She did a Shoulder-Down-and-Scooted-into-a-Roll!  So I was Top Dog!  Hahaha!

Of course, it didn't last. :(

Hi Aunty Missysmom

A beck is a water thing.  Like a stream or a rill or a little river, says Mum.

In this case, it is man made, I think, cos it is mainly straight and intended to drain the flat land around the Big Lake park.
