FRIDAY 30th September: Beachy mountains
Tara:
Mum says that we can go back on the main beach soon! On Sunday!!! With Auntie Jane!!
But we wanted to go on the beach TODAY, so we had to go to the North Promenady thing. And Dad came too, cos nobodies working today. It was ACE. Look:
I beat Cato up really good
Don't his foots look silly? Hahaha!
Until he got all cross and difficult. spoilsport!
I like this beach. There woz nobody else on it.
and there woz lots and lots of mountains to climb
Mum says this is a bad pic on account of the sun glaring. But I look very cute, and Cato looks silly. So I think it is a very good pic, don't you, Aunties?
See me looking all stat- statu- esky on the rock? Dad says I could be a siren luring sailors. But Mum says even sirens are quieter than me. Haha!
Cato could go up, but not down. Ha!
And there woz a LOT of up! See how high Mr Cyclist was? Very high!
But I upped and downed a lot. It woz FUN. I got all hot and panty and worn out by it. Up and Down. Up and Down.
And then we got to the end, and Cato HAD to come down. So I went up and down a few more times to show him, and EVENTUALLY he got it. See?
(Mum: We all thought Cato had been incredibly brave to jump down and down and down like that. He is sooo cautious, and sooo afraid of heights, it was positively heroic for him to do it. And also surprisingly helpful and kind of Tara to stick with him and help. Although she might have been thinking it was a race. lol)
Cato:
It was a good walk. I shouldn't have gone so high, but I wanted to walk above the squishy seaweed. cos it is a bit slippy. Mum says the brown stuff is called bladderwrack, which is a funny name, isn't it?
We walked back along the top, and so long as I didn't look over the edge, it was fun too. And there were no whizzy cyclists today, which was nice.
I like the beach. Mum says we can go on the main beach again soon. That will be good.
Of course, Tara had to climb up here. She found a slope but then forgot how to get down. She was going to jump down too, but Dad lifted her.
Mum and Dad had a cup of tea in a new cafe they found, before our walk. It is called Moon on the Water, and it is called a Vegan somethingorother. Mum says Vegan means they just eat plants. Mum had something called hemp milk in her tea!
Then after our walk, we went back to the sausage cafe and Mum had eggs, and Dad had sausage, and we got some too.
I really hope they don't go to the Vegan Place too often.
Life without sausages would be AWFUL!!!
