MONDAY 7th November: Sniffy! Yay!!!

Cato:
Mum said no walk yesterday cos of the coldwetwindiness, but today we went to the Big Lake. I had to wear my English Gentleman Jumper, cos of the cold, and we only went round the lake on the path. Boring or what? But Mum said that would be enough for me, and I was very tired at the end. I AM feeling much better though. But I am VERY bored of fish.
This is first sniff.
It has been very weird while I was ill. I haven't been able to go sniffing. That is terrible. Mum says she thinks it is Mental Cruelty for me not to use my sniffer. It would be cruel to stop Tara bouncing, and cruel to stop me Sniffing. Cos I am a Sniffer. So I was Sniffing EVERYTHING today. And it made me feel MUCH better. And marking everything too. I was all bottled up with the marking too!
Mum says this pic is funny. Cos of the birds on the poles. Must be a human thing.
MrWeatherForecast said there was rain coming. And there was. It was starting when we got back to the car. But it was OK cos my jumper didn't get wet.

Nice Westies. Their Dad liked me a lot. He laughed and smiled and gave me a great ear rub. Tara just lay down.
I was on a Sniff Mission here. I think something INTERESTING came out of the water. Do you think it was a Lake Monster?
We saw a swan, all by itself, washing its knickers. Mum says it looks weird cos of the autofocus. Makes it look a bit watercoloury.
This is when he put his foot up on his hip. How do they do that?
This is the bridge. Can you see the white pigeon? (Mum: it'snot a pigeon, it's a gull!)
We didn't see it! Dad should have pointed it out to us, shouldn't he? He didn't! We would have hunted it, if he had!!!
Then I was looking over the edge of the bridge,
and this is what I saw. don't they have weird white stick feet?
Mum says those buds are next year's Pussy Willow sprouts starting to grow.
This big dog was old and friendly, and we said hello, but Tara still did her submitting. Just in case.
Tara:
Oh Aunties, it woz a HOBRRIBLE walk! First proper walk since Cato started being Wimpy-ill, and I was really looking forward to it! But it was terrible! I had so much BOUNCE waiting to BOUNCE, and every time I went to BOUNCE (Mum: on Cato!) they said Ack-Ack-Ack! and stopped me! Or they stepped between me and Cato so I couldn't get a proper run up. Or a good leap. Or a good rugby tackle! It woz AWFUL!
They let Cato sniff, but they Mental Cruel me, by repressing my BOUNCE and think it is OK. Can someone send me a rescue package? I need a pink tutu, and some more hair bows, and sausages, and stuff. Help!
And then there were the HUGE ATTACK DOGS. The Westies. And the big black and white paw. And I had to submit, or they would kill me! And then Mum, wouldn't let me BOUNCE on Cato as a nice stress relief.
And worst of all, Mum didn't take a single nice pic of me in my Red bow, collar and lead to show you. So now I have to wear the same thing two days in a row, to get a pic tomorrow!!!
