FRIDAY 11th November: Lovely walk
Cato:
It woz my first proper walk since my tummy, and my first proper walk since having proper food. Fish isn't food, is it Aunties? Fish is... is... meh!
So lots of sniffs and sun and sand and stuff. And I wore my jumper cos Mum said it was chilly, but I would have been OK cos when the sun came out it was nice.
This is First Sniff:
Mum says the light was 'magical' cos the air was totally still, no wind, and there was hazy sun.
Things are still flowering, which Mum says is amazing
This is us being really bored while Mum took pic after pic of something called a Snowy Egret. But all the pics were wonky. Apparently the zoom was too zoomy and Mum was all wobbly. Or something. So you can't see them.
The sun was nice. It was warm and comfy.
Look! This was lovely too! It used to live in someone's house. So it smells of that. And then it lived in the sea. So it smells of that too. And now it lives in the salt marshes, and guess wot - it smells of that too!!! I wanted to bring it home. Like my Treasure Ball. But Mum just said 'In yer dreams, lad!' and walked off.
We went this way. I wanted to see wot was in the tree. But the path didn't go near it.
Mum says that big boat thing is off to The Continent.
This is Ralf. He is half Shih Tzu and half Jack Russell. He was VERY interested in my knickers until he sniffed Tara's knickers. After that he wasn't interested in me at all! I think Tara quite liked him.
This was on the way back. Tara ran down the bank and then back up again. Twice. But I was getting a bit tired by then. It was a long walk.
Tara:
This is me using my First Mountain of the day as a launch pad to bounce on Cato. Ooooh it felt soooo goooood! Mum hasn't let me bounce properly in FOREVER cos of his wimpy tummy, but today I did. It was FUN!!!
This is me finding a sniffy hole. I found it first! So Cato got my leftover sniffs! Ha!
This is me beating up Cato when we got near the car. I always beat him up when I notice the walk is due to end cos I am running out of Bounce Time!
This is my Red Bow
Mum:
There was lots of sea buckthorn, with lots of berries.
