SATURDAY 19th November: bounce Bounce BOUNCE!!!
Cato:
Ooooh Aunties, it was soooo nice to be able to go out and RUN and BOUNCE! And the sun was out! And we didn't need coats! And it wasn't RAINING!
That was first sniff. Always VERY important, first sniffing, isn't it? Sets you up for the rest of the walk.
Mum was going doolally about 'the sun!' and 'the light!' and stuff, but we said she would have to save that for her own bloggy thing, cos there wasn't room in OUR blog today for all her boring plant stuff. So she is going to do all that later, when I have gone back to sleep.
This was us after our first warm up fight. I think Tara was a bit surprised at how bouncy I was! Haha! No walk for 3 days will do that to a paw.
We squared off and had a really good rompy chase through the leaves. I used to hate the leaves, but I am OK with them now. I don't mind the rustling and way they touch my tummy. But they do slow me down, cos I have to run UP as well as ALONG. Tara just runs THROUGH.
This was Rocco. He is a bit too big for Tara (she just lies down), but he was very polite and let me sniff. He really wanted to run around and be chased, but I couldn't keep up.
And we did lots of charging about - and I sort of kept up, as well! Especially on the flat bits. Ha!
This is me standing in the lovely warm sun having a breather. It was an ACE walk. Mum says to notice my green feet. Haha!
The weather tomorrow is supposed to be horrible again so we won't see Auntie Jane, and we might not walk.
So Mum says she will play special games with us if we can't get out. And we will have a nice long snuggly lie in too.
Tara:
Look how FAST we are going. But I am going FASTEST, aren't I?
There woz lots of bouncy Ninjaness too, and even though Cato put up a better fight than usual, I won, of course!
Although once I did tread on him a bit hard, and he got cross with me. But I said I woz sorry! I did! I sniffed and shoulder rolled, and then he wanted to play again, so it was OK.
Mum says I would make a great figurehead on a ship, but she thinks that figureheads don't have quite such long beards. She also says that I am beginning to look a little belig - belidge - erant so it might be time for a change of style. Wot does that mean, Aunties? A change of style? Will I be even more beautiful?
Aren't I cute? This is after Mum did my face trim. She trimmed the sides of my face a bit, and over my nose. She says she made a mess of it, and it is very choppy, but at least the sides of my face aren't all heavy now. I have just had a big drink, which is why my beard is so dark.
