Two weeks ago today, I traveled 989 miles round trip to pick up the most adorable Shih Tzu named Nicky!! In those two weeks, he has become a part of my heart & life that means the world to me

It all started back in May 2005 after losing my second Shih Tzu, Peaches. My friend Denice Rangel wrote me an e-mail & offered Nicky to me. I couldn't believe it! He is a retired champion Shih Tzu, only 4 years old & in perfect health!! She said the Lord told her to give him to me. I am so thankful she listened & obeyed

He was an angel on the long car ride home. I was so concerned about my other dog Max taking to him. Max didn't like Charlee, my first Shih Tzu & he didn't like Peaches, my secind Shih Tzu either for a good 6 months. I was prepared for a long adjustment period. Much to my surprise & delight, Max fell in love with Nicky the minute he saw him & Nicky fell in love with Max too. They played that first night together & romped until I finally had to make them stop so we could go to bed. Another great blessing from the Lord God is Good!!

I have always said that a house is not a home without a Shih Tzu & I believe it even more now! I think Max must feel the same way! I think he feels our home is complete again too :)

Hi Phyl, if you ever come back to read this, I've clicked publish your entries. If you don't they stay in a draft and no one knows that they're there. If you don't want them published, thats fine too but just wanted to let you know thats why no ones commented or why it doesn't show up in the index of having anything entered. :)
