  1. I agree that Ginger needs food available if you are gone all day. I feed newly-weaned (usually around 8 week) puppies 4 times a day, down to 3 times a day at 12 weeks and then twice daily at 16 weeks. Their tummies are not very big before that so they need to eat frequently or you can have issues with low blood sugar.

  2. Thanks for all the feedback. Since she is so young I will leave her puppy pads out until I notice she can hold it for longer periods of time and I will hold off on fully crating her. She does have access to water all day while I'm away. As far as the feeding goes the first few days she was home I was free feeding her but she didn't want to eat unless I was there watching her. She would only eat while I was in the room. So I stopped the free feeding to get her more on a routine and I have tried feeding her in the mornings and when I get home. Today was the first day she actually ate in the morn

  3. The answer to both questions is a big NO. The hubby give the guys a bath he cuts the toe nails that is his contribution to grooming, he probably would do a good job but cleaning up after him would not be worth it. This morning we sat outside with Sophie begging her to potty in the new paw run. I will continue to do this!! This is how we are now hopefully one day we will be That day can not come soon enough!!!
