nawkole 0
My Simbaa is 7 months now and he is still leaking when he comes out of the crate. It is hard for me to pick him up because he will become so excited and wet me and him. What can I do to prevent this? Thank you in advance for your help.
Seastar 44
Stay very calm, totally ignore him as you take him out, and get him outside fast. Don't reprimand him for leaking. Get excited after he pees where you want him to.
Luna 8,676
My friend who has Cockers calls that "happy tinkles" - aparently Cockers are VERY prone to it. I agree with Paula - stay really calm and maybe he'll be able to "hold it" until he gets outside!
mel 251
Precious does that and she is 5 years old. She is so excited to see me when I get off of work after 8 hours. She is much better than she was when she was a puppy, but still does it, just not as much. I've learned to live with it. She's just happy to see her momma. :P Edited September 13, 2012 by mel
