ShihTzusAreCute 3,662
We have to go out of town for a few days in the near future and Lexie cannot come with us so she will remain at home with a member of the family who will not walk her(they will feed her, play with her and make sure she is safe,it's only the walking outside that's a problem) so as a solution, I thought we would use the pads just like when she was a puppy but the question is, since she hasn't used them in so long(about 1 1/2 years) will she remember them? Should we start with the pads a day before the trip to get her used to them again?
Vicky & Pebbles 59
I would start a week ahead. I'm sure it will click much quicker but the longest lapse Pebbles has gone without puppy pads is 4 months so I can't say your dog will or wont remember after 1 1/2 years.
