Bath day for Lacey... Hair cut too..

Mommy has been threatening to give me a bath and another haircut. My last cut was 4 weeks ago and Mommy wanted to keep it short.. 

So in the bath I went... Mommy brought me downstairs in my towel. Donte normally waits by the door for me to come down, but not today. He was still on the sofa, looked like he had been asleep while I was upstairs.. Mommy said he had been a good boy not to worry about us upstairs. 

I had a cuddle in the towel to dry off a little and then onto the grooming table to have my hair dried. 

Then the clippers came out... Gulp!!! 

I was a good girl and Mommy soon whizzed the clippers over me in no time at all... For me, it seemed like ages on the table... 

 

Can you see my new haircut? 

And my pink paws are looking much better.. Just growing the last little bit out..

ive just got to tidy up a bit I missed, on the left side of her muzzle as you look at the picture.

Lovely seeing your eyes.

Did you wriggle?  Tara always wriggles.  Makes it a bit tricky on the face furniture! :roflmao:

Very impressed, Donte, that you managed to sleep through your impending doom... although it seems like you escaped.

Awww thank you. I am a bit wriggly to start with and then I settle down.. 

Yeah, I think Mommy just forgot to trim that side properly. 

I think Donte laid low, so he wouldn't have to go next... I'm sure he'll have his turn soon...

You look really good, your Mum did a great job. I got my what Mom calls a spring cut yesterday. I am not thrilled to get bathe and groomed but I am a good girl on the table and in the tub.......I love it when I get the rinse with warm water from the ladle. My white sparkles just like the white in your coat. We look pretty after we get all cleaned up.......I bet you smell pretty too. Did you get a treat? I did......the treat bowl sits on our counter across from the grooming table and sometimes Mom forgets....... we got smart and just stand there until she remembers........
