Rain, rain and more rain

Well today has been a total washout... Mum let us out to go toilet this morning and it had been raining all night. Lacey didn't want to go out, but I went out straight away for a wee. Mummy had to cox Lacey out later to go toilet before Mummy left for work.

While she was gone we could hear the rain, it was very heavy at times.

Mummy came home from work at lunch and let us out to go toilet... But look what greeted us...

Lacey took one look at went back inside and even I didn't want to get my feet that wet... Uh hum!! No way...

The tortoises live this side of the fence. And just look at the at how much water is in there...

Mummy said its a good job they are still in hibernation as they would have to learn to swim and she would have to call them turtles...

All-in-all it's been a really miserable day and we have only been out for very quick toilet visits on a tiny piece of grass that isn't water logged.

poor tortoises - are they all warm and snug and in the house?

Rainy widdles aren't popular here, either. Lol

Oh it's been awful. Depressing... I hate it when it's cold and wet... I really can't wait for spring...

I wouldn't say warm.. Hehe... I fridge hibernate, so it's between 3 and 5c in there. I'll get them up soon.  ( I would just like to add, it's not our food fridge. They have their very own ?) .

Rain Rain Go Away............poor babies.......you sure have a soggy mess there. I don't much blame you for not wanting to go outside even to wee. Sure hope the sun comes out tomorrow for you.

I hope so too. Even the children at school couldn't go out at playtime because of the rain, and by the end of the day they were bouncing off the walls. I hope they get out tomorrow.

I feel bad....complaining about the amount of rain we've had here....all the while knowing California needs every drop we can get

It's overcast but "nice" today. I had my husband go by Lowe's (home improvement store) and pick up 20 bags of mulch.

My bad....but I have to say he was a bit of of wuss......unloading the bags of mulch and dumping them where I needed then to go.

If it wasn't for my danged booboo "tendon torn off the bone" on my baby finger....I could have done it all myself.

I HATE asking anyone to do anything I can do for myself.....But he dumped all the bags  according to my command and I raked it all where it needs to go.

Wow that's a lot of rain!?  I too sure hope it stops soon. Your poor tortoises, they'll need a raft to get up on when they wake up.

Did have one positive thought though!

- doubt if next door's chickens are enjoying the rain!

Knowing my luck, they'd get ducks!!! ?
