FRIDAY 26th Feb: Home Again
Cato:
Very tired today, and got a bit worried seeing all the packing up this morning. But we slept in the car, and when we woke up, we were home!
Checked everything out, had a widdle and a calcium bone, and then went straight back to sleep. Only problem is that Mum has wasted ages on the computer, instead of providing lap services in the front room. Hope it doesn't mean we will miss out on brushing, later!
Mum says we get a day off walks and photos today, cos of our mara- marath- um... long walk yesterday.
Tara says she could do it all again. But she has been snoring pretty loudly, and she hasn't bounced on me once today. So I think she is just pretending.
When we were sitting under the breakfast table in the cafe this morning, Mum was telling some people about us, and told them we 'did' Stoodley Pike yesterday. They were pretty impressed, I can tell you! They had a big shiny skinny border collie with them, but they were impressed by us! Mum said we were 'magnificent'. Or 'did magnificently' or something.
Tara:
We came home. So back to boring flat walkies. But Mum says we will have another holiday. So I can climb walls then. But I need to practice on every bench I see until then, don't I?
Sidney:
They didn't pick me up until 5 this evening, although I gather they had been home for hours before that. Some pathetic excuse about Cattery opening hours. At least there was food waiting for me, and the back window was open.
I have lost weight. Mum is concerned. That is gratifying.
I tried to pretend I wasn't interested in them, when they appeared, but I couldn't quite manage it. Mum picked me up and snuggled me, and I forgot to dig my claws in. Also, I didn't fight as hard as usual when they shoved me in the box.
But I had recovered by the time we reached the car, and I am proud to say that I made the journey home quite hellish with my wailing.
Now, where shall I leave tonight's bones?
