SUNDAY 6th Mar: Mum's Day
Mum: just to explain - today is Mother's Day in the UK.
Sidney:
Mum usually does stuff on Sundays, so she gets up nice and early, puts down food and opens window. Very satisfactory.
Until today.
This is at around 7 am
This is around half an hour later.
unfortunately, the Runt and the Brat are too stupid to realise how annoyed i am.
there was some nonsense with a card and some chocolates. I ignored it all for as long as i could, but had to leave, in the end. There is only so much buoyancy a cat can stand.
Tara:
We got stuff for Mum! Dad did it really, but we had to say where we wanted to go for a best-walk, and we asked for Hubbards Hills. Lots of climby things and woods and bridges and stuff! Wheeee!
Dad said Mum and he would take us there if we gave her the chocolate stuff. Cato wrote it all in the card thing and Dad says it is a contract now. So we are gonna go to Hubbards Hills soon! But not for ages. not til the weekend or even loooooonger!!!
Cato:
Aunty Jane Day. So we had breakfast sausage outside cafe at beach. And Aunty Jane brought Max (choc lab) and her friend Aunty V. He was huge and a bit fat. Even fatter than Tara!!!
he was very polite at the table, and we could get to smell him in peace. But he was very big, and he had some of our sausage!
On the beach walk though, he was awful!
he blundered about and ran up to every big dog he saw and bounced on them. Some of them didn't like it. He had no Recall, and disappeared completely for 10 mins. His Mum was quite panicy, ran off, found him, and he hadn't even realised he had been lost! He was like some lumbering gaumless tank of tactless destruction. He was 4! That is older than me! He should have known better!
we woz very very pleased that he just ignored us.
not a good walk at all!
there were some nice bits though. Here they are:
these are me and the Aunties. Tara isn't in the pic cos she stayed very close to Mum and away from Max. And Max isn't in the pic cos he was off gallumphing and splatting someone somewhere. Aunty V even whinged about small dogs being mean to Max!
