WEDNESDAY 16th Mar: Sniffs and tunnels and scratches!
Cato:
Foxy Park walk today! Yay! Cold and a bit windy but some sun too. Dad could come with us, but kept talking about being starving so afterwards we had to drive through KFC and pick up some gorgeous sniffy chicken and stuff. Then we came home and watched him eat. I got a tiny bit. Tara got a bigger bit. And Mum got none. Greenery and kwish stuff, she had. Poor us!
The walk was good though. Mum wandered round saying 'there is nothing left to photograph!' so we found her these fascinating scratchy diggy bits
We can't work out which way up the photo should be, but you can see the scratched bits, can't you?
Lots of discussion, but we think we have narrowed it down to squirrels. OR a rabbit. OR a fox. Or a dog. Maybe Missy can help? She is a squirrel expert!
We think a fox lives down here. We sniff it a bit, but we would NEVER go down there! Never never never.
This is a new view of the daffy bit.
And this is a new patch of blue things that Mum found.
We found this new patch of mysterious shadow, and fantastic sniffs nearby.
Not noticed it before! Will have to come back. We had to rush off so Dad could torture us with chicken smells.
Tara:
I didn't know she was doing an arty daffy shot, did I? I just wanted to sniff something.
And can you see the cat? on the brick wall with its tail hanging down?
Mum saw it! and photographed it! But she didn't tell US about it!
No fair!!!
We want to know about ALL the cats, even if we can't get at them.
Sidney:
Paw improving. Decided to stay in vicinity of house for a while, but have enlisted Mum and Dad as human minions to ensure window is defended when I do go out on patrol. Of course they won't do a good job, but any job at all is better than nothing.
Chicken wing for tea last night. Bone left on the landing, in the dark, outside the bathroom. Some things NEVER get old.
