Had the strangest thing happen last night and frankly it's got me baffled.
Little Abby Dabby.....as I sweety call her most of the time.....Usually when she goes to bed nothing and I mean nothing wakes her up, she's out like a light till 8 the next morning. She woke suddenly last night like she had a night mare....growling at first into darkness in the general area of the stairs then barking and would not stop. She even got up to investigate barking and growling the whole time.
I got up and told her bed and she went right back to the end of the bed but still growling into the landing.....she would just not give it up for over 45 minutes Racking my brain what could have spooked her I even got up again and closed the blinds to make it darker just in case the full moon shining brightly through the window was casting long shadows might be the cause...She settled somewhat but still would wake up all night and growl at the landing....
She was no better this morning.....periodically growling and barking at the landing again..but from downstairs......And it was day light!!!
Have you gone crazy I asked her.....Her behavior even resorted back to day 1 at the store. When I released their leads off the pole she attacked her own lead with her teeth just like she use to when I first got her....she's been out of sorts all day acting weird..She's not a big barker at all, rarely do I hear her bark...but today she was in over drive at everything and nothing to bark at from within the house...even TV actors talking bothered her.
She sleeping quitely now...she's exhausted me correcting her all day so I put her to bed at 7:30. Fingers crossed what ever is disturbing her leaves her alone tonight...I'm beat
What do you think Auntie's....what can be be? Mommie's going crazy at my behavior
