The calendar says it suppose to be April 26... But I'm not quite sure that's right. Flowers are blooming and birds singing love songs announcing springs arrival.
But....Last nights gales announced the arrival of a arctic front from the far north coming down...Santa you got a wicked sense of humour if you sent this stuff. 
Tempertures plummeted early morning and the wind had a bite that went right through you..but the good part was it was sunny....Well that didn't last......Not a day to walk the dogs without woolly jumpers....so we buttoned down inside to ride it out.
Come 10 o'clock it got real dark....down came hail, mixed with fine snow and sleet. Off and on it would break then start all over again.....still at 3pm it hasn't stopped for long.
So while my east coast friends bask in 80 degree sunshine....Have a warm thought for a displaced southern girl
