Thank you Aunties!  Mum says I am 3.  It is is bit of a surprise, cos I thought that 3 was old, and I don't feel old.

Thank you for saying Happy Birthday.  It is very nice.  It is nice to have one of my own.

We had a warm sleepy lie in.  Mum lifted me up onto the Big Bed, and I slept snuggled up to her for about an hour.  Then we came downstairs.  I was BUSTING by then, and ran to go out the catflap instead of waiting for Mum to unlock the door.

The weather isn't very nice for a Birthday though.  Grey and very windy and cold.  We went to the Outside Sausage cafe for lunch, and Mum got a bit worried cos Tara and me woz shivvering.  So we all had a big discussion and decided to go to Foxy Park for our walk.  There is less wind there than on the salt marshes, you see.  But we get to go to the marshes tomorrow!  So really my Birthday will last 2 days, won't it?  I like Birthdays, though I can't really remember my other ones.

Mum says to thank you all for talking about the Calming Signals.  She has started using them more on our walks, and Tara isn't beating me up so much, which is nice.  

This is me holding back cos Tara will beat me up.

And this is when Mum has stopped her by stepping between and telling her not to, so I can run to Mum.

I think the karate thing was the final straw.  Mum says she will let her bounce, but in future if she gets too rough she will get directed into less rough avenues.  Wotever that means.  But so far, I like it.  Tara was charging up to me several times, and Mum Calming Signalled her and she stopped short, every time!  And was gentler after that.  I love Mum.

And there is going to be ROAST chicken for tea.  I love chicken.  Mum likes to give it to us raw.  That is OK, but it isn't as good as Roasted.  With skin.  I am very very lucky.  And I might give a bit to Tara, if she doesn't bounce on me again today.

Cato.....such a nice way to start your Birthday........what a lovely walk. Love you standing in all the cherry blossoms that have fallen from the tree. You enjoy that roasted chicken......funny that you mention roasted chicken cause Mom has a whole chicken in the crock pot for us to nibble on...maybe that is our special treat for your birthday celebration. The chicken is going into the oven soon, and I am starting to get a bit excited.

Mummy said these treats are for special occasions and she said we could pick our own treat from the jar too , because it's Cato's birthday.

Cato is asleep.  He ate a LOT of chicken. So he can't ask.

Lacey, they are very, very, very yummy.

Mummy likes them as she said she doesn't think they have any stuff in them that Donte could be allergic too. 

Your chicken looked yummy. Our big sister might be coming home for a few days at the weekend and Mummy said she'd cook a roast.. Mummy always plates us some roast dinner up. 

Oooh what a Wonderful bday you're having Cato! Lovely walk and sooo glad mom got Tara settled so she didn't jump on you on your bday! Wow does your roast chicken look Good! Mmm making me hungry over here! Glad you had such a good bday sweetie, and Super glad you get to celebrate again tomorrow! Sleep tight little one!

 Did you salvage the wishbone....so you can make a wish?  When Mom clean the chicken off the bone our wishbone was broken....our special Cato B-day treat was chicken gizzards and were they yummy.......now we patiently wait for Missy to have her birthday for more special treats......glad you had a great day....sleep tight.

Morning everyone!  Thank you @Missysmom , Bailey, @missy dawn and @Sophie's Haven 

I will ask Mum for the chicken wishbone thing, though I am not allowed cooked chicken bones normally.  Our chicken didn't have gizzards.  Mum says that next time we have one she will get gizzards for us to have.  I know I like chicken livers, but they make my poo runny if I have too much.  Tara likes crunching the necks.

We have just been given some new tooth chewing treats.  They are very hard.  I tried to chew mine but I couldn't. I left it for Tara.  She seemed to like it.

Mum says the wind is still horrible, so we might not get to the beach today, either.

Were not allowed bones either but Mom said growing up she was taught of a custom that you take the chicken wishbone.....it can not be broken it has to be the whole wishbone and you set it aside to dry out.....and two family members make a WISH and each hold the end of the wish bone and pull and who ends up with the top of the wish bone on their piece......their wish will come true.......you probably don't have that custom where you live....I did not give that a thought when I asked you about the wishbone......you might want to give it a try though........Mom said the next time she is going to put a whole package of gizzards in the pot so we all can have our own piece.....we told her she was teasing us with just a morsel......I told her Missy's birthday is coming up and so is Lucy's so to get LOTS of gizzards. Sometime Mom's forgets things that we like and when someone mentions certain foods a light go off and surprise, surprise like chicken and along with the chicken comes gizzards..........
