Glad to say because mom kept damp towels down and fast pick up of any spillage neither Abby or I got the first speck on us....Never seen mom move so fast ........and she's ancient ya know 

I over heard mom talking to dad and I'm worried about bathes now. She gone and found a baby bath...get this...On Legs!

She told dad she found two kinds and has to choose which one now......and she can stand up and wash us in there and not hurt her old back! Plus it's got a drainage tube so she can still use her recirculating hydro contraption on us! 

 The indignity of being in a human baby bath and she knows I'm scared of heights... ...I may pout the whole time....so if my pictures show I'm grumpy that because I am  

Wow, it's all going on at your house.. Poor Muumy and Daddy, I bet they'll be glad when it's all finished...

Talking about taking tiles off.... Many, many years ago... Huhh hummm... 

We had these horrible pink tiles, I hated them...

Hubby went off to work, as usual- I looked in the garage, armed myself with hammers and other tools and started knocking these tiles off the walls... 

Should of seen hubby's face when he came home from work... 

Do you know what he said???? 

You took them off, you can sort it out.... Lol 

 I plastered the walls and then painted them... Boy, it was hard work!! Lol 

Dad won't let mom decorate....something about it being to girly and her making a mess ....As if !!! 

WOW Pip and Abby you are having Fun at your house!! We don't do nothin like That! Can't wait to see when you finish! But um that b*** thing sounds Awful I agree Pip I wouldn't wanna be up in the air that high neither it's bad enough having a b*** on the ground..  ❤️Missy

Master Pip and Miss Abby Lane you are quite the handy paws......such good inspectors. I know the B*** word is not something you want to see or hear but look at this way.......when Mum can give you a bath without her back acting up the bath goes faster.......you will be in and out before you know it.  Keep up the good work and be sure Mum shows pictures of their progress cause I love home redo's. 

Friday....All old tiles and work is painfully slow.....Tomorrow we start laying more tiles....pictures to follow hopefully

If you ever tried tiling with two Shih Tzu's watching your every move, constantly underfoot, laying down to nap right in the way, wanting to help mix the adhesive and sniff every single tile?

The only dogs I have ever seen that Don't run and hide when cutting marble on a Loud cutter......They come running in to watch and wanting to help

Well..just say you have to have plenty of patience 

When someone comments on your bathroom you can say every family member had a hand/paw in it.........they just want to be a part of the action. Heaven forbid they might miss something...........Your marble looks very pretty.....Dad and Pip are doing a great job installing it.........

Indeed!  Maybe you should each put a hand/paw print in the mud!  Years ago when we had Daisy, our first family dog, we had a concrete sidewalk put in.  In a little while the fellow came to the door and asked me to bring the dog in the house.......he had to re-do one place twice because she walked through it.  She died shortly after that and I wished I'd have left some prints there to remember her by.  I always say she was the smartest but naughtiest dog we ever had.

We getting worried...mom got some new stuff for our impending bath ......Moms been getting all our stuff from Secret Weapon cause it makes our coats beautiful......She ordered something new this time....Blueberry Bright Shampoo and something called Mineral Mud Shampoo that Auntie Julia told mom about for when we get the itchies....and Foam Away Facial Cleaner for daily use........Think we're  safe a few more days cause the plumber and electrician are a no show returning so far to hook it up for us...Don't tell mom but we secretly bribed them to stay away as long as possiable 

Moms got her eyes on the new Scissor's and thinners they started selling now...The handle looks like a dragon head....She thinks they look so cool........No mom you don't need them...step back from dads card right now! 

Mom:

But, but, but....I neeeeeeed them babys Hahahahahhaa OK..maybe not need them but I want...I want....LOL

These old folks sure take their time...Six hours today to put together the shower frame and glass..It would help of dad turned things around first to start with before he screwed it down but you have to humour old folks ya know.

Abby and I supervised as usual and for some reason moms always telling us Move..now..Move. Like how can we tell if your doing it right if we have to move every 5 minute mom?

Did you see Sir Pip fast asleep on the shower tray....Mom said rather loudly CATS....... Opps he's awake now....Moms got a wicked sense of humour ..lol

Our male Boxer Mack used to sleep in the stall shower on hot days.
