Sunday walk
We was all up early and Mum and Dad were saying we could go for a walk to Stanwick Lakes. We can't be let off the lead there because of all the lakes and it's says all dogs need to be on their lead... Although last Sunday Daddy let Lacey off her lead and Mummy said it wasn't a good idea with all the lakes and people on their bikes, and people jogging.
Mummy gave in and let me off too.. We was alright for a little while and then we both decided to run off ahead. Mum blew her whistle, and called us. Dad called us... We kept running and then we ran to the bridge that crosses a river... We ran and ran and ran up the steps on to the bridge and Daddy ran after us... Mummy had frozen, she couldn't move because that river is called the river Nene and that's the river she fell in when she was a child.. Although she fell in it in a different place, not here. And the gaps in the bridge were big enough for us to fit through... And she was having a bit of a moment... I didn't know what all the fuss was about..
Oh dear, Daddy got a telling off... We got a telling off and I think Mummy has a few more grey hairs ?
These photos are from today.
Here we are on our leads...
mummy takes a rubbish photo, she chopped me in half ?
(Replica) Iron Age Roundhouse
We went in to investigate
It was a bit sniffy in there...
You'll have to excuse the poo bag in Daddy's hand. That's Lacey poo!! Stinky...
We didn't see any poo bins where we walked and Mummy forgot her special Dicky bag, that she puts the poo in when she can't find a bin... So we had to take it home with us... We have got Daddy trained well, haven't we? ?
