SUNDAY 12th June: Mum's home!!!
Cato:
We woz miserable without her. We tried not to be, and we do love Dad, but it isn't the same, is it? And we didn't know if she was OK. It is safer in the pack, isn't it? So yesterday, when Dad tried to take us for a walk, I didn't want to go. And I sat down on my bottom lots and lots, and he carried me a bit, until we turned for home, and then I pulledandpulledandpulled cos I wanted to get home to see if Mum was there waiting. And when she wasn't I had to run around and check everywhere in case she was hiding... but she wasn't.
We did spend both nights on the Big Bed though. And it was Tara who did that. Dad came and slept on Mum's side of the bed, to be near us, and she woz so excited that Dad was near, she kept bouncing up to be with him, until Dad got tired of putting her down, and he got me up too. So we were all glad to snuggle.
Mum got home today and we bouncedandbouncedandbounced and she woz glad to see us too. You can tell.
So we had a sofa snuggle snooze and then went out for a walk, including the sea front sausage cafe. Only today Dad wanted FishnChips, so it woz a FishnChip cafe. There were lots of old sniffy cars on the seafront, and we thought of all our Aunties and Uncles cos you have sniffy old cars where you live too, don't you?
Mum took some pictures and says that she is sorry about the grey light, but it REALLY was that grey. And it started raining too, otherwise she would bore you to sleep with pictures of every car. Yawn.
It is lovely having Mum back. She has never left us before, and it was horrible.
Tara:
Mum's home. I think this means we have to sleep in our dens tonight. I missed her a lot.
But more importantly, my PINK IS BACK!!!
Look at me! And see my Sprout. Lots of people said how cute I am, and one lady told us all about her Yorkshire Terrier who used to wear a red hair ribbon every day. And we met some other Shih Tzu and Lhasa Apsos - 1 was 14!!! he had cataracts, but was nice.
Oh, and this is Our Nice Beach, all full of people and we aren't allowed to go and enjoy it. Not fair!
Mum says she thinks that we should re-name the CatFlap as The Sprout Killer.
