THURSDAY 16th June: PingPongPark Rumble!

OK (says Mum) think we have to do this one a bit differently, since they can't agree who won The War. So I will speak first, setting the scene, as it were, and then they will each get a turn to comment on each picture.
But before we start, I want to reassure you that no Shih Tzus were harmed in the making of this Epic, and they have both spent a lovely afternoon snuggled up with Dad on the sofa, watching the England v Wales footie match. So Peace was restored.
Since the weather was rather iffy (warm, humid, overcast and dull) we decided to go to the park with the PingPongPavillion. Remember? Well, when we got there, it turned out that there has been some partying around the pavillion, and there is too much broken glass around for safe PingPong. But it didn't matter since they managed to entertain themselves...
When we arrived, no one could decide which way to go:
So we checked out the play area, and the pavillion, and then went round the outside of the park, looking at the fence, which looks a bit saggy in places!
There were birds to chase (unsuccessfully)
and lots of interesting sniffs...
But then an innocent game of Truffle Hound turned into WWIII. I will let them speak for themselves from now on. Not that they make much sense!
Tara: He stole my treat!
Cato: Did NOT! She stole mine!
Tara: Ha! Ferocious Fu Dog killer Ninja move! Take that, wimpy Cato!
Cata: Hee hee! Do you know how silly you look!
Both: Oooh, sniffies! Interesting!
Tara: Pathetic Slug! You dare to resist my Right Hook!?!
Cato: Ow! Watch the ear!
Tara: .... and STAY down. Loser!
Cato: Gerroff! GerrOFF!!! Or I will get my Mum onto you!
Both: Time out. Hot innit?
Tara: Did you get that Mum? Did you see? That was my Rugby Tackle from the Rear! Ace, wasn't it?
Cato: Too hot! We got any fluids? Orange segments? Cucumber eye masks?
Tara: Hahaha! Play with me! This is FUN!
Cato: Gimme a sec, will ya?
Tara: Chase me! Chase me!
Cato: Ha! Think you can escape, do you? Pah! Gonna get you! Wait til I sink my gnashers into your TAIL!!!
Tara: Karate Kid Gull Swoopy thing incoming! Mere Worm!
Cato: Cool. You do all the silly posing, and I will push in and knock you off balance. Ha! Gotcha!!!! Did you get it on camera Mum? PLEASE say you did?
Mum: sorry Cato. Your move was so fast and furious and sneaky that it was faster than the camera shutter. Sorry, missed it. But she DID look silly, didn't she?
Tara: Please play some more! Please?
Cato: Nope. Gonna lie here. Enough's enough. Anyway, I won.
Tara: You did NOT!!! I won at the beginning. All you did was feebly wriggle. I won!!!
Mum: As you can imagine, the debate wrangles on.
But Cato was a bit worn out, and decided to have a wee rest.
We all made it back on our own paws, although Cato was hinting strongly to Dad that he wanted a lift. And they have had a lovely snoozy afternoon. So the War seems to be over.
