MONDAY 1st August: Foxy with Mum
Tara:
Hello Aunties! We had a fab walk today at Foxy. It was cooler, and wimpy Cato actually fought back! It was ACE!!! Though he did get all puffed and floppy by the end. And then we slept ALL afternoon. Well, I slept. Cato SNORED.
There were people everywhere!
My stick!
This is him trying to steal it!
We had LOTS of fights. It was great.
This is me trying to get Cato to play when he had wimped out.
This is me after Cato messed up my sprouts
We needed a sit down after that!
Cato:
It was a lovely walk. We met lots of people and the sniffs were better cos it was cooler. There woz even a bit of rain, just enough that my trousers didn't get dusty.
The park woz full of picnicers. Mum thought Tara woz going to embarrass us, but she didn't. We woz in shock! I made some nice friends. They thought I was very very very cute.
You haven't seen foxy for ages. So I asked Mum to pic him specially.
Mum:
I have been noticing the pinecones on this tree recently. And the more I look at it, the more gorgeous I think it is. It has a memory plaque, a beautiful shape, and such lovely pinecones... can't wait til they fall and I get to see them close up.
Remember that tree with the white flowers? Well every little flower is now a fat little berry. Elder, maybe?
Sweet little thistles. These are each the size of a strawberry
The rowans are already producing berries!
Weeds are smothering the lobelia
yellow bobbles
I keep seeing yuccas in bloom everywhere
