SUNDAY 14th August: Mohawk Day!
Tara:
We went to see AuntieJane and had breakfast. But it wozn't sausage, cos Mum fancied scrambledy eggses and a kipper. So we had to have egg too. Cato didn't think he liked it, so I went to eat his share too, and he suddenly decided it woz delicious. Not fair!!!
Look at Me!!! This is my new Mohawky hairstyle. Mum got all crabby when she woz doing my hair, but she got there in the end. I was very good, and she gave me treats. I am always good. But it woz too neat and tidy, so I rolled on the top of my head, and had a scratch, and now it looks REALLY good, doesn't it? She says I need a face trim, but I think I look perfect!
Then when we woz at the park, I did picnic table climbing and made AuntieJane laugh, and then I posed for my photos. Auntie said I was adorable, even if my hair looked like I woz dragged through a hedge backwards. And I am, aren't I? But I don't know why anyone would drag me backwards.
We didn't have a walk AT ALL since then. Not today, and not yesterday. Mum said yesterday woz too hot, and then she made some excuse about a poorly toe. She got bit by a bug on her toe and now it looks like a fat red sausage. An itchy sausage. Did I tell you we didn't have sausage for breakfast? And I can't eat Mum's sausage toe, or we would never get another walk again!
But it woz OK because I saw William. I've showed you William before. He is GORGEOUS. I think he is my hero. And he did all sorts of heroic things, like widdling, and sniffing and ignoring me.
This is William and Jack. I don't like Jack. He was rough when I woz a puppy, and he cocked his leg on Mum's skirt once. She told him off. Haha!
And Cato's got a girlfriend! Cato's got a girlfriend!
See how gooey he looks?
Cato:
We had a pigeon hunt. It got away, but this is where it was being all pigeony, and sniffy. Isn't it exciting?
There were lots of people. All dangerous with bikes and balls and stuff. Too many humans!
Mum says we might only come to Foxy on Sundays, with AuntieJane until the kids go back to school. It is very crowded, isn't it?
This is the grumpy pug. We can't remember his name.
Mum:
Yellow rowan berries. We don't know if they will stay yellow, or go the usual red. Will keep you informed!
A white sweet pea.
the white buddleia, still looking gorgeous. All the others have gone over now.
and very fluffy thistles. The bees were fascinated.
