WEDNESDAY 14th September: PingPong with Dad
Cato: We had to walk early, on account of hotness today. So we took Dad down to PingPongPark and showed him all the sniffs. It was still misty cos of the earliness, but the sun came through after and was hothothot.
Tara: This is the park. You've seen it before. But it hasn't sniffed all misty before.
Cato: Dad! come and see this! It is REALLY interesting.
Tara: This white fluffy stuff is where someone brushed their dog. I like the thought of Mum grooming me outside. It would be nice, wouldn't it? Is that a big dog I see?
Cato: Where you going Dad? It is more interesting over here...
Tara: Sniffy branch!!!!
Cato: Nah! sniffy food litter!!!!
Cato: Hmmm. OK. Maybe the branch is a bit interesting.
Cato: And here's anther one!
Cato: Come on Dad! Places to be. Sniffs to sniff.
Cato: Oh! wait for me! Don't go rushing off.
Tara: Humans are really slooooow, aren't they? Even My Dad.
Cato: Second time round, on the path, and NOW Dad decides to speed up!
Cato: You remember our PingPongPavillion, don't you? Only it is much sniffier now. And there is broken glass stuff and more litter. Mum says it is because the kids are off school, and bored, so they make litter. It gets a bit better soon, cos they have gone back to school.
Tara: Ooooh! Mountains! I am still in training, you know. I asked Mum when our holiday is, and she said VERY VERY soon. But then she said 2 more sleeps. Only that was before I had a snooze, so does a snooze count as a sleep? I want to go NOW!
