It's Good To Be Back In A Routine......
I just have to say how wonderful it feels to get back into a "normal" routine. I have made it to the gym 3 days in a row now. It's amazing how long it takes to build up strength and stamina but losing it happens so quickly. I was a little frustrated the first day back which was Sunday as while I was on the elliptical, my heart rate was climbing and getting too high despite the fact that I didn't feel like I was working that hard. I listened to the monitor and just stood where I should be as I felt that would be best. I did get to see the trainer for a couple of minutes yesterday as she barked at me" Do you have the ok from your Dr to be back! " rofl! She told me that it's normal and with the way I work out, that after a couple of times it'll catch up. Today it was fine and where it should be. As for the weights, it'll take a little longer to get back to where I was .
I have play rehearsals Monday through Thursday evenings this week so I'll blog about the week later on after it's done. :P
