SUNDAY 23rd October: Foxy with AuntieJane
Cato:
Ooooh we had a FAB walk today. First it was Auntie Jane and sausages! Yay! And then it was Foxy Park! Yayay!!!
But I did hear Mum and Autnie making strange noises about something called Gluten Free, and how there is Gluten in sausages, and how Gluten makes Thyroid stuff worse, and how my tummy should be Gluten Free. It is a bit worrying.
Anyway, here is our lovely walk:
This is me and Tara meeting Becky's Mum. Becky is the spaniel. She was even more timid and silly than Tara! But we managed to get a good sniff in. She and her Mum were very nice.
Mum says it is football season again. So there are little humans all over the place. I am not allowed to play ball with them.
This is Grumpy Pug and Fred. Fred is drinking our water. But I didn't mind. Fred had to drop his ball to have a drink. But he remembered where it was, and picked it up again after.
This is Fred and Betty and their ball. Their Dad is REALLY GOOD at throwing the ball. He makes them run all the time.
Tara:
I had to swat Cato to make him fight me. Isn't that wimpy? He wouldn't even try and steal my stick!
Wossat?!?!
We walked down here, and round and round. Mum made us go round 3 times, cos Cato is getting fat again.
This is Cato after three rounds. He wanted a rest. But it was OK, cos we were going back to the car by then.
Mum:
I know the colours are surreal, here. But it was the sun on the leaves. It really did look like this.
Unbelievably, I found a buddleia blossom still in colour. Astonishing. I bet it is the last one in the whole county
The Rosemary is still blooming.
and the massacred rose is inching slowly towards opening. It's green outer bud 'leaves' are about a centimetre more open, but it has taken 7 days to achieve it...
