TUESDAY 25th October: Cemetery Sniffs
Tara:
Cos Mum isn't working this week we are getting more fun walks! IT is ACE. I don't think Mum should work at all. Then we could have nice walks every day. She says that she is having another holiday. But if that is true, why haven't we gone back to the Mountains to stay, and have Mountain adventures. This can't be a PROPER holiday, can it?
We hadn't been to Our Field at the end of the road for AGES, so we went today. It hadn't changed.
Lots of doggy sniffs and plenty of room for me to bounce! hahaha!
Then we walked home through the cemetery.
Cato went on strike, as usual. He won't say wot he doesn't like, but he REALLY doesn't like it. He just sits down and holds us up. But Mum just pulls him a bit until he stands up, and then we are off again.
We met the nice Treat Lady. She goes to the cemetery every day, with the huge old dog. Huge Old Dog just had a birthday, like me! Only Huge Old Dog is eleven!!! That is all four paws, the tail, both ears, both eyes, the mouth AND my nose!!!! How can anyone be that old?
Then we came home along the slippy leaf street. It is very slippy. And sniffy. Look:
Mum:
Lovely house. Both doors belong to the same house. The one on the left is the posh Front Door, and the one on the right is the 'back' door. Weird, eh? Don't often see it. Presumably the 'back' door leads to a passage the length of the house to the kitchen. For coal deliveries, and stuff. But of course I am guessing.
The wisteria is turning colour beautifully this Autumn
And - TRAGIC NEWS - my lovely Daisy Villa has sold to someone else! They had better look after it! I will watch its progress and hopeful return to health, with great interest.
