SUNDAY 25th December: Xmas Day
Cato:
Merry Xmas Aunties!!!
We had a great day. SantaPaws visited in the night, and by morning a parcel had magically appeared on the Big Bed. It was awesomely sniffy!
When we opened it, an New Python slithererered out and attacked us! It was an amazing battle!!! Me and Tara worked as a team to take it down. But it was really difficult to kill, and we had to do it overandoverandover again. Then we went downstairs for scrambledeggandsmokededsalmon breakfast (Mum: 1 teasp as a topper on their normal brekkie), and the Python was there too! So we had to fight it through the kitchen and the middle room and the front room. Eventually we managed to kill it properly on the sofa, and then we could get some rest. We really needed a rest by then. You can see that I kept a paw on it during my snooze (Mum: flat out honking snoring, not just a 'snooze'!) just to make sure it didn't attack again.
Mum said we could go for a walk if we wanted, but I didn't. I just lay on the sofa and looked at her when she got the leads. I wanted to stay and guard against Python attacks.
So Mum said 'OK Troops. Day off. Just this once.' and we went back to sleep. Then we had STEAK for tea.
We like Xmas!!!
Tara:
Hahaha! Take that Mr Invading Python! We showed you! Trying to sneak onto the Big Bed and squirm all over the house! We woz on Guard Patrol and We Got Ya! It woz my Ninja battle plans and Clever tacktics wot saved us! Hahaha!
Mum says that now we have to decide which of the boring old pythons is going to retire. Saggy Pink Python or Blind Python (wots eyes have fallen off). But I like ALL the pythons, and think we should keep them all.
Isn't Cato's tummy fat in the pic? He says it is an unflattering angle. But I think he is FAT! Hahahaha!
